Preparation has been done

I took this photo in my hotel room in Pattaya, Thailand and the photo shows the inside of a fridge. I bought a couple of cans of Singha and a bottle of SPY red at a convenience store nearby my hotel, and then kept them in the fridge to keep them at the right temperature. Of course I go out to eat and drink (a lot), but I also love to watch some Thai TV programs in my hotel room. That was why I prepared some drinks in the fridge. Even though I don't fully get what they are talking about, it's fun to watch some TV programs in a foreign country. Also, watching TV commercials in a foreign county is also fun. It's like an entertainment for everyone.

Hang out at Pattaya Avenue

I took this photo in front of Pattaya Avenue in South Pattaya, Thailand. Pattaya Avenue is a popular hangout located on Pattaya Second Road (a.k.a. Pattaya Sai 2, Thai: ถ. พัทยาสาย 2) in South Pattaya. People in Pattaya visit there to shop around, to eat and drink, to watch movies, or to do what they want. I believe that some people might visit there just to loiter around, and I did so. Oh by the way, there was a very nice Khao Man Gai place across from Pattaya Avenue. Khao Man Gai (Thai: ข้าวมันไก่) is a cuisine known as Hainanese Chicken Rice, Thai version. I really love it.

The abbreviated form of มืองพัทยา is ม.พ.

I took this photo in Pattaya, Thailand. I don't know exactly what it's called, but I'll call it as a manhole cover in here. While I was walking down a street in Central Pattaya, Thailand, I found the manhole cover which had a touch of the underwater world. Angelfish and shells are depicted nicely together with some floppy seaweed. Thai letters in a large bubble in the middle everything says "ม.พ.". ม.พ. is the abbreviated form of เมืองพัทยา. เมืองพัทยา means Pattaya City. So I thought the manhole cover was cool, then I took a photo of it.

Soup for breakfast

I took this photo at a little breakfast place in Pattaya, Thailand. That time I was on a short term vacation in Pattaya, Thailand and my hotel was on Soi Buakhao. Even though it was a very short stay in my favourite city, Pattaya, I wanted to make the most of my limited time. I just tried to do the things as the locals do as much as possible. I know it was not exactly the same as the locals do, but at least I tried. Meal wise, I started my days having Thai breakfast, and I ended my days having Thai dinner. The photo shows ต้มส้มไก่. It's like a type of delicious Thai chicken soup.

แก้วมังกร : Dragon Fruit

The photo shows a heap of แก้วมังกร. แก้วมังกร is a kind of fruit which is known as Dragon Fruit or Pitaya in English. Tastes like  not very sweet or sour, just like exotic as it looks like. I love this fruit. I bought the heap of แก้วมังกร on a plastic tray from a fruit vender in Pattaya, Thailand. First of all, I kept the heap of แก้วมังกร in a fridge of my hotel room, coz I wanted to had them at the right temperature. Then after that, I went to bed. On the following morning, I had แก้วมังกร for breakfast. It was a nice breakfast.

Capture mood and atmosphere of Pattaya Soi 8

I took this photo during my evening stroll on Pattaya Soi 8 in Pattaya, Thailand. Actually that time my hotel was located on Pattaya Soi 8, so I was on the way to my hotel at that moment and it was almost the end of the evening stroll. My hotel was just around the corner from the place where the photo shows. Since Central Pattaya is my favourite, I thought use a hotel room on Soi 8 as my base would be a great idea. Then I did so and I was totally right. I took a lot of photos on Pattaya Soi 8 just to capture mood and atmosphere in my photos.

Enjoy a late-afternoon stroll on Pattaya Sai 1

The photo shows Thai Airways International Office in Pattaya, Thailand. I love the shape of the building. TG office in Pattaya is located on Pattaya Sai 1 (Thai: ถ. พัทยาสาย 1, a.k.a. Pattaya Beach Road). I'd say it's next to  Dusit Thani Pattaya, or I can say it's across from Amari Ocean Pattaya, or right on the sharp curve. Don't worry you can't miss it. It's very easy to spot. I took this photo during my late-afternoon stroll on Pattaya Beach Road. After I took this photo, I made a U-turn and walked back to hectic Central Pattaya.

ผัดผักรวมมิตร

The photo shows Pad Pak Ruam Mit (Thai: ผัดผักรวมมิตร) which I had at a restaurant on Soi Buakhao in Pattaya, Thailand. Pad Pak Ruam Mit (Thai: ผัดผักรวมมิตร) is simply translated as stir-fried mixed vegetables. To cook it, stir fry common vegetables together with some Thai seasonings. I guess you can simply imagine how it tastes like. It's not a spicy type of Thai food, but is a yummy one. When I'm in Thailand, I frequently order ผัดผักรวมมิตร, normally with some Thai rice (and a bottle of Thai beer of course).

ต้นอ่อนทานตะวันผัดนำ้มันหอย

The photo shows ต้นอ่อนทานตะวันผัดนำ้มันหอย which is often translated as Stir-fried Sunflower Sprout. It's like a type of stir-fried veggies seasoned with some garlic and oyster sauce. The main ingredient is edible sunflower sprout. Just like the other yummy stir-fried veggies in Thailand, ต้นอ่อนทานตะวันผัดนำ้มันหอย went really well with Thai rice. While I was having dinner at an eatery in Pattaya, Thailand, a solo-traveler from Helsinki, Finland talked to me, and then we started conversations about our trips, interests, travel tips and so on. We both had a deep love of Pattaya, and had a lot in common.

You'll need that, right?

I took this photo in my hotel room in Pattaya, Thailand. The room was an AC room, and not only that, but had that fabulous ceiling fan as well. I prefer using fan, rather than putting AC on. The city of Pattaya is a kind of a big city. So I'd say where you stay is also where you go. Also, each area has different faces, if you know what I mean. That time, I decided to stay at a hotel on Soi Buakhao near Soi Lengkee. For next time? I haven't decided yet, but I'm sure I will make a reservation through Booking.com. That'll be safe and secure booking.

The street sign shapes like a ship's wheel

The photo shows one of the street signs of the city of Pattaya, Thailand which shapes like a ship's wheel. Each street signs in Pattaya shapes like a ship's wheel like the photo shows. The one on the photo is the street sign for Pattaya Sai 2 Road (Thai: ถ. พัทยาสาย 2, a.k.a. Pattaya 2nd Road) of Soi 2. It's a tad important to remember that Pattaya Sai 2 Road (Thai: ถ. พัทยาสาย 2) is northbound one-way road. On the other hand, Pattaya Sai 1 Road (a.k.a. Pattaya Beach Road, Thai: ถ. พัทยาสาย 1) is southbound one-way road.
