Niglihawa, Nepal

I took this photo in Niglihawa, Nepal. This is sort of an information board about Niglihawa. The information was written in Nepali and English. According to the literal information on the board, this site is identified with the birth place of Kanakamuni Buddha. I stopped by there on the way to Lumbini from Chitwan National Park. Niglihawa is famous for its ancient ruins of Ashoka era. One of the must-see was a stone pillar with inscription, but somehow I was the only tourist to be there at that moment. It was a boiling hot day.
