Audacious explorer
I took this photo in Venice, Italy. There are two common different ways to explore around Venice as a tourist. Ride on Gondola or walk around the city on foot. I took this photo while I was walking around the city. I really enjoyed myself being in the picturesque movie-ish location in Venice. There was a place to eat that named Ristorante Marco Polo on the right hand side. That sounds really Venice, Italy doesn't it? Ristorante is Italian term of restaurant, and Marco Polo is an ancient audacious travel writer who was believed to be Venetian.

St Pancras Railway Station
I took this photo in London, England, the United Kingdom. The Photo shows St Pancras Railway Station. St Pancras Railway Station is right next to King's Cross Station and is also called London St Pancras or London St Pancras International. This building is known for the prime example of Victorian architecture and catches the all attention of passersby all day long and everyday. The weather wasn't exactly nice when I took this photo, so I photoshopped the photo quite a bit to upload on my blog.

Bottles aligned
I took this photo in my hotel room in Port, Portugal. That day, I went to visit one of the Port Wine caves in Gaia and bought four miniature bottles of Port wine: Tawny Port, Ruby Port, White Port, and Rose Port. My favorite was Tawny Port, and obviously all of them were delicious. Very. There was a little bar on the ground floor of my hotel, and I could enjoy some beer or some Tawny Port wine before went to bed. The bar provided Free Wi-Fi service, so I could google what I would do in Port on the following day. Next time when I go back to Port, I'd choose the same hotel again.

It's not a huge cotton candy, but a tree
What is this beautiful tree? I took this photo in Las Vegas, NV, the United States of America. Thinking of the situation that I was in Vegas, the entertainment fun city, it looked like a huge cotton candy or something, but it wasn't. It was a tree looked like a huge cotton candy. I saw this kind of beautiful plant for the first time, and I had no idea what it was. Still, I have no idea what it is, but it's beautiful. If it's still there and the season is right, you can see it a five-minute walk to north from Welcome to fabulous Las Vegas sign. It on the left, check it out.
British fingerpost
I took this photo in London, England, the United Kingdom. I found this British fingerpost near Buckingham Palace. It shows directions for Hyde Park, Hyde Park Corner, Apsley House the Wellington Museum, Diana Princess of Wales Memorial Walk, and Buckingham Palace. That morning, I went to visit that area to see Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace. So many tourists were there. It was interesting to see the cover of their guide book that describing about London in many different languages. A woman next to me was having a guidebook with the title of Londres.

Rose Garden, Bangkok
I took this photo at Rose Garden in the outskirts of Bangkok, Thailand in 2002. I've been there twice to ride on a elephant's back and also watch awesome dancing shows which were played by some talented elephants. The sign above the three elephants on the photo said that DO NOT ENTER. THE ELEPHANTS ARE LARGER THAN YOU. Yeah, I knew that ,of course, but how about the small one. It was standing right in the middle of the bigger ones, and it looked so cute. I don't know how heavy baby elephants are, but hmm... maybe they are much heavier than me.

A very nice hotel tends to have a good restaurant
I took this photo at a hotel in Katunayake, Sri Lanka. The hotel is located this close to Bandaranaike International Airport. I've heard that the hotel has been receiving rave reviews from the locals as well as tourists. That time, my hotel was in the capital Colombo, and I visited the hotel just to have delicious Sri Lankan dinner at their poolside restaurant. It was really worth going there. Very good service and very nice food with good beer. The tables are exactly on the poolside, and the ceiling was clear night sky with a lot of stars. A-mazing. Next time, I wanna stay at the hotel for my first few nights in Sri Lanka.

A pint of Stella Artois at a British Pub in London
The photo shows a pint of Stella Artois which I had at a very nice British Pub near Paddington Railway Station in London, England, the United Kingdom. The pint of Stella was served with that genius head. According to my British acquaintance, people tend to say something obvious if their beer was served with large amount of head at a pub in England. I don't remember what exactly he said, but the phrase was 'Could I have some more beer for my head?' or like that. I asked him what it meant. He said it meant to pour more beer, not the head. Being a non-native English speaker myself, British phrases sound really polite and sometimes I don't understand what they really mean to say. Anyway, to sum up, the pint of Stella Artois on the photo is served as a way of British. Absolutely fabulous.

A view of Pattaya Soi 9 in June 2007
This is one of my old photos. The photo shows a view of Pattaya Soi 9, Pattaya, Thailand in June 2007. The view of Pattaya Soi 9 is so different now. The orange-ish buildings on the right hand side is a hotel where I've stayed several times. I stayed there at that time as well. There was a huge construction site on the left hand side. Behind the green-ish barrier was a site for construction of Central Festival Pattaya Beach, SFX cinema Pattaya Beach, Hilton Pattaya and so on. That is why I wrote that the view of Pattaya Soi 9 is so different now.

Economy sized soap bars
I took this photo in my hotel's bathroom in Jerusalem, Israel. Economy sized soap bars were compliments of the hotel. They were piled up beautifully in front of a bathroom mirror. I took this photo in the morning of my departure. Just for a memory. After spending a week in Jerusalem, I moved to the capital Tel Aviv and spent four more nights in Israel. Time went by three years and two months later, I revisited Israel and spent a week. That time, I was based in Tel Aviv, and visited the Dead Sea via Jerusalem as a day trip by coach.

Looking up Mount Lycabettus from the city of Athens
I took this photo in Athens, Greece. Looking up Mount Lycabettus and Chapel of St. George from the city of Athens. I didn't go to visit the top of the hill, but at least took a few photos from the ground level. Mount Lycabettus is visible from the Acropolis of Athens, so one of my photos that I took at the Acropolis of Athens includes Mount Lycabettus in it. I only had four nights and five days in Athens. So many things that I wanted to do, but so little time I had on my itinerary. I wanna go back to Athens one day to do / see / eat and drink a lot more.
Passerelle in Luxembourg City
I took this photo in the quiet lower town of the city of Luxembourg, Luxembourg. It was drizzling at that moment, but I went down stairs from the upper town and walked around a bit in the lower town of the city of Luxembourg. Looking down the lower town from the upper town was very beautiful, walking around the lower town was really relaxing. I took the photo near the bottom of Passerelle. It's a viaduct in Luxembourg City. The viaduct is simply called the Old Bridge and is one of the city's picturesque landmarks.

A picturesque village Ein Kerem, Israel
The photo shows Ein Kerem, Israel. It's a picturesque village on the edge of Jerusalem. As you can see the photo, the village is nestled in a valley. Since Kerem means vineyard in English term, the village Ein Kerem is surrounding by full of vineyard just like I've heard. The name of the village is spelled various in English term. For example, Ein Karem, Ain Karem and maybe some more. To get there, I caught a cab in the heart of Jerusalem, and asked the driver for a round-trip to go to Ein Kerem and to go back to Jerusalem.

Venetian Glass Workshop
I took this photo at a Venetian Glass Workshop in Venice, Italy. When I went to visit the amazing workshop, a skillful Venetian Glass artist showed me how to create beautiful glass art. It was really an eye-opening experience to see that kind of work. What an artist. I loved to walk around the city of Venice itself, and I of course loved to having yummy Italian cuisine, but visiting a local craft's workshop was also an unforgettable experience. For a souvenir from Italy, I bought a beautiful Venetian Glass necklace. It took me a long time, but I finally chose blue-ish one.
Nacho Cheese with Dutch Salami
The photo shows a kind of Nacho Cheese which I had at a very nice Heineken pub in Amsterdam, Holland. The pub faces to bustling Leidseplein (a.k.a. Leiden Square) and serves delicious pub grub with their featured beer Heineken. The Nacho Cheese was served with very nice melted cheese, diced Dutch salami, sliced red onion, well cooked Guac Sauce and so on, and was absolutely yummy. Not to mention it went really well with cold Heineken. When you're in Amsterdam, and are in the mood for Heineken, better go to Leidseplein. Have fun!

When do you open?
I took this photo in North Pattaya during daytime hours. I really love Thai food and I also love to buy yummy Thai food from stalls. My favorite Chicken rice, Duck rice place in Pattaya is across from Pattaya Avenue, South Pattaya. They sell ข้าวมันไก่ (English: Thai Chicken rice) and ข้าวหน้าเป็ด (Thai roasted duck over rice) nightly. There seemed to be another Chicken rice, Duck rice place in North Pattaya like the photo shows. I took this photo while they were closing, but I should have gone back maybe at night to check it out.

Viewing the Hollywood sign from Hollywood Blvd
I took this photo of the Hollywood sign from Hollywood Boulevard near California Pizza Kitchen and Starbucks Coffee in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, the United States of America. The world-famous Los Angeles Historic Cultural Monument could be seen from a lot of locations in Hollywood, Los Angeles and I took many photos from many places. This photo is only one of them (I have more and more). Oh it reminds me, I could view the Hollywood sign from my hotel's window as well. Fond memories.
Welcome change of pace
I took this photo in Amsterdam, Holland at night in the seventeenth-century canal ring area: the UNESCO World Heritage Site, near my hotel along Prinsengracht. It was around the middle of November and the temperature was quite low. I needed special winter outfits while I was taking a stroll around, but inside buildings were really warm and very comfortable to stay and having fun due to central heating system. I've used this photo as my blog's image from November 2015 and this morning I replaced to a new image for a change of pace.

Westminster Bridge
I took this photo on Westminster Bridge in London, England, the United Kingdom. Many tourists would love to take photos of the Palace of Westminster and its clock tower while they are crossing the bridge over the River Thames. I think Westminster Bridge is one of the most famous bridges in London, and I'm sure that a lot of film lovers have seen Westminster Bridge in many movies which was shot in London. I guess I can say that Westminster Bridge is not just a bridge in London, it's already a world-famous landmark of London.
That really means a lot to tourists
The photo shows a cup of mulled wine which I had at Ljubljana Railway Station in Ljubljana, Slovenia. I found a large mulled wine pot which was put outside of the cafe. Staff were doing their job inside of the cafe and they looked busy at that moment. When I was trying to catch staff's attention, a young local woman who was sitting at a chair next to the entrance kindly stood up and called stuff for me. Thank you very much. With that, I could really enjoy nice wine break before I caught an international train to Zagreb, Croatia.

A boiling hot new year's day
I took this photo on South Pattaya Walking Street in Pattaya, Thailand. It was the last year's new year's day. The massive Pattaya Countdown event was held at Bali Hai Pier where the place I could say that at the end of South Pattaya Walking Street, or I could say that at the bottom of the PATTAYA's huge city sign. South Pattaya Walking Street is one of the most bustling areas of the city, especially at night. Every night. I prefer some other streets in Pattaya, but I kinda love to walk around South Pattaya Walking Street as well.
Couple seats on the Level 108
I took this photo on the Level 108 of the Stratosphere Tower in Las Vegas, Nevada, the United States of America. It was another new year's day a couple of years ago. The hectic amazeballs New Year's Eve Party was held on the Level 108 of the Stratosphere Tower, right there, so the photo shows one of those couple seats after the party. I enjoyed viewing the famous fireworks show from the Stratosphere Tower in my hotel room while turning on TV which shows another New Year's Events. My hotel was the Stratosphere Tower and Casino, so I actually saw the gorgeous fireworks' shower from the tower through the window. Happy New Year, everybody.
