Krating Daeng: กระทิงแดง
The photo shows a bottle of Krating Daeng (Thai: กระทิงแดง). I took this photo in my room of a serviced apartment in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand. As Krating Daeng is well known as a basis for one of the world's most popular energy drinks, Red Bull. An European businessman traveled to Thailand many moons ago, and had an eye-opening experience with Krating Daeng. The rest is history, and I'm pretty much sure I understand that European businessman's feeling. Krating Daeng is that super. No doubt about it.
A replica of Michelangelo's David
I took this photo at an Italian restaurant in Pattaya, Thailand. The restaurant has a large garden and a replica of Michelangelo's David is standing in the middle of the tropical garden. I've seen the other replicas of Michelangelo's David in Florence, Italy (the one in front of the Palazzo della Signoria and the one in Piazzale Michelangelo) almost a decade ago, but this one in Pattaya is much more familiar to me because I've been to Pattaya many many times and I've had lunch or dinner at the Italian restaurant many times. The replica of Michelangelo's David is always there to welcome all foodies.

Bangkok fingerpost
I took this photo near Hualamphong Station (Thai: หัวลำโพง) in Bangkok, Thailand. It's also known as Bangkok Railway Station. There's a station of the same name Hualamphong MRT Station and is located underground of there. It's the terminal station for the Blue Line of the Bangkok Metro. I found this fingerpost across from Hualamphong Station. The middle one indicated Chinatown in Bangkok (a.k.a. Yaowaraj, Thai: เยาวราช) is 400 meters from there. I was asked for directions three times near there. I gave them a very simple direction. Just go straight and you can see the gate and light and everything. Have fun!

Where the hotel with no casino in Vegas
I took this photo in my hotel room in Las Vegas, NV, the United States of America. That time, my hotel was Trump International Hotel Las Vegas, and my room was on the 44th floor. When I opened the curtains, I could view the Northern side of Vegas Strip through the windows. Not to mention, but the night view was amazing from there. FYI, Trump International Hotel Las Vegas is a 64-story hotel which has pools, spas, a restaurant, a bar, and so on, but no casino. The restaurant is the famous one named after the CEO himself, DJT. I've had breakfast there.
Half the fun is waiting for the Sunday Roast
I took this photo at a British pub near London Paddington Station in London, England, the United Kingdom. It was on Sunday and I went to the pub to have "Sunday Roast". The Sunday Roast is a very traditional British meal that is only eaten on Sundays. According to my English acquaintance, every week the contents of the Sunday Roast change, but basically the same every time. It has meat, potatoes, a couple of vegetables, and of course gravy. Oh also Yorkshire pudding, I must add that. While I was waiting the Sunday Roast, I took this photo. It's cool, isn't it?

Grilled Sticky Rice: ข้าวจี่
The photo shows a yummy Thai Isan food, Khao Jee (Thai: ข้าวจี่). It could be translated into English as Grilled Sticky Rice. I bought them at a Khao Jee stall of Wat Boon Night Bazaar (Thai: ตลาดไนท์บาซ่าร์ วัดบูรพ์) in Nakhon Ratchasima (a.k.a. Korat), Thailand, and had them in my serviced apartment's room with a can of Thai beer and so on. Since sticky rice is a staple in Isan (Thai: อีสาน, English: Northeastern) district in Thailand, ข้าวจี่ is pretty popular amongst the locals, and of course this is my favorite too.
I had a wrong idea about a throw of a bed...
I took this photo in my hotel room in Bangkok, Thailand near Suvarnabhumi Airport. The hotel offered free transfer to / from the airport, provided a large comfortable room with a large bed plus free Wi-Fi, also had a nice Thai restaurant on the ground floor. By the way, I recently learned something new. When I got into my hotel room, I often saw this way of making a bed. Yep, there's something near the end the bed. I was thinking the long cloth was for a decoration in a way, but in fact, it's not. According to an article, the throw is a sort of protector of the clean white sheet. To make sure the sheet doesn't get dirty by my feet or bag and so on... I didn't know that. Eye-opening.

German fingerpost
I took this photo in Frankfurt, Germany. I found this German fingerpost near my hotel where across from Frankfurt (Main) Hauptbahnhof (English: Frankfurt (Main) main station). Actually, I took this photo after checking out of the hotel. I still had some time to walk around the city so I did so, and of course took some more photos of beautiful Frankfurt. This photo was one of them. After I saw everything what I wanted to see, I took a train to the airport. Frankfurt airport is an enjoyable place to spend time. I had another great time with some good German beers at the airport.

Southern side of Nyhavn and a frozen canal
I took this photo in Copenhagen, Denmark on the first day of my arrival. Thai Airways International flight TG950 flew into Copenhagen Airport around 6:30 in the morning. Then I took a train to Copenhagen Central Station to check in to my hotel. Since my TG flight was scheduling to fly into Copenhagen Airport that early in the morning, I booked a hotel room from the night before. So I could take the hotel's nice buffet breakfast (it was included in the room charge) in a relaxing atmosphere while I was thinking where I would like to go on the first day in Copenhagen... The photo shows Southern side of Nyhavn. It was around the middle of January and the 17th-century waterfront and canal district was freezing up like the photo shows.

Turn left at the sign
I took this photo on Soi Buakhao (Thai: ซอยบัวขาว) in Pattaya, Thailand. Soi Buakhao is a street known as one of the fun and enjoyable streets in a fun entertainment city Pattaya with full of beer bars, places to eat, cosy perfect hotels and so on. The center of the photo shows a sign of Soi LK Metro (Thai: ซอยแอลเคเมโทร). LK Metro is another Soi connecting Soi Buakhao and Soi Diana (Thai: ซอยไดอาน่า). I guess I don't need to explain about Soi LK Metro. It's a pretty famous Soi among male tourists. A lot of people already know about it.

Edible bird's nest
I took this photo at a table of a food stall in Chinatown in Bangkok, Thailand at night. That night, I went to have some edible bird's nests (Thai: รังนก). Edible bird's nests are popular dessert in Chinatown in Bangkok (Thai: เยาวราช) and are often served with some ginkgo nuts (Thai: แปะก๊วย). You can find bird's nests stalls very easily in Chinatown, Bangkok, or you can find them on a menu at some restaurants in the area of Chinatown, Bangkok. It cost me 100 THB for a bowl full of one at a bird's nest stall. Like I said "dessert", it was so sweet.
Where there's a history, there's a story
I took this photo at the Phimai Historical Park (Thai: ปราสาทหินพิมาย) in Phimai, Nakhon Ratchasima province, Thailand that's the place where you can see one of the most important Khmer temples of Thailand. You can see gigantic scale of ancient Khmer Architectures, statue of Buddha and many, many more. The location where's known as the Phimai Historical Park nowadays is also known as one end of the Ancient Khmer Highway from Angkor, Cambodia. Angkor, the capital of Khmer Empire long, long ago.Where there's a history, there's a story.

Tiny little tissues in a tiny little box
I took this photo at a restaurant on a side street just off the world-famous Khaosan Road in Bangkok, Thailand while I was waiting a bottle of Singha and some lunch. On the table, tiny little tissues were kept in a tiny little baby-blue box with some toothpicks. I love this kind of view which is very much Thai, so I took a photo of it was not just for killing some time. Khaosan Road is always full of people as well as restaurants and bars on the road, but the restaurant where I had lunch that day was not very crowded and I could enjoy my downtime.

Colorful plant
I took this photo in Unawatuna, Sri Lanka. There was a corner shop on Yaddehimulla Road (a.k.a. the Strand) and they had a nice restaurant deep inside of the tropical garden. After having Sri Lankan Fried Rice with Prawns, I found this colorful plant in their garden. I didn't know the name of the plant and still don't know about it, but this photo reminds me of my favorite atmosphere of Unawatuna, Sri lanka and many, many more things. I've been to Sri Lanka seven times and spent 171 days in total. Unawatuna is my favorite destination in Sri Lanka. I really really love there.

The road to Santa Maria delle Grazie
I took this photo in Milan, Italy when I was walking toward Santa Maria delle Grazie. Santa Maria delle Grazie is the world-famous church in Milan and is listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites list. One of the inside walls of Santa Maria delle Grazie has the huge mural art of the Last Supper which was drawn in late 15th-century by Leonardo da Vinci. That is why the church is included in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites list. The mural art of the Last Supper is huge, I might be able to say it was nearly 10 meters wide, and of course it can't move to somewhere else. If you wanna see it, you have to go to Santa Maria delle Grazie.

Papaya: มะละกอ
I took this photo in my hotel room in Nakhon Ratchasima (a.k.a. Korat), Thailand. I bought a plate full of papayas (Thai: มะละกอ) at one of the fruits stalls in Wat Boon Night Bazaar (Thai: ตลาดไนท์บาซ่าร์ วัดบูรพ์) then kept them in a fridge all night long to have them in the following morning. Thinking back, that day was my last day in Korat. I had to catch a train to the capital Bangkok at 10:18, so the plate full of papayas was actually my last breakfast in Korat. It was absolutely sweet and yummy. And of course it was chilled right.

Deep-Fried Green Papaya Salad: ส้มตำทอด
The photo shows Som Tum Tod Kung Sot (Thai: ส้มตำทอดกุงสด) and Khao Niew (Thai: ข้าวเหนียว). It's can be translated in English as Deep-fried Green Papaya Salad with Fresh Prawns, and Thai Sticky Rice. I took this photo at my favorite place on Central Pattaya Road in Pattaya, Thailand and had them with a bottle of Chang Beer. Match made in heaven in such nice atmosphere. I think Som Tum (Thai: ส้มตำ) is very well known by a lot of people as Thai Green papaya Salad, but Deep-fried Green Papaya Salad might not familiar for everybody. But, you may find this food at some Thai-Isaan places. Enjoy!
Dine in the Catalan sunshine
I took this photo at a very very nice Pub & Restaurant on La Rambla in Barcelona, Spain and the photo shows Valencian Paella (Spanish: Paella Valenciana). Someone told me that Paella Valenciana must have chicken, so I had the right one there. Paella Valenciana, it was. And it was so yummy. My table was beside a window and I felt like I was dining in the beautiful Catalan sunshine or something. The sky was bright and clear. Also it was so cool that I could look down the fun street from there. Ah, I wanna be there right now...

Chocolate Ice Cup
I took this photo at a very popular ice cream place in Zagreb, Croatia. It was a really nice and sweet place which was actually a Bistro & Wine Bar, but I just dropped by there for a cup of ice cream and a bottle of Ožujsko, a Croatian lager beer. Lots and lots of kinds of mouth-watering ice cream were available, and I needed a few minutes to choose mine. Finally, I went with a cup of chocolate ice cream and I was totally right. It was so yummy. Also, I was happy that the cup of chocolate ice cream was pretty photogenic.
Stella Artois and Strongbow
The photo shows cans of Stella Artois and Strongbow. I bought them at a corner shop nearby my hotel in London, England, the United Kingdom and took this photo in my hotel room. Stella Artois (the white can on the left hand side) is a very good Belgian pils which is my favorite. Strongbow, the other one, is an English dry cider which is an very popular alcoholic beverage in England. When I spent for a couple of weeks in London, England, I pretty much enjoyed English beer culture and pub grubs, so this kind of photo is I'd say rare.
TG676 BKK - NRT; the 2nd meal; Mar 2014
The photo shows an in-flight meal of Thai Airways International flight TG676 Bangkok, Thailand to Narita, Tokyo (BKK - NRT). It was about a six-hour flight and the photo shows the second meal on board. The first meal was my favorite Thai rice soup with minced pork named Khao Tom Moo Sap (Thai: ข้าวต้มหมูสับ), plus fruits and yogurt and so on. The second meal was a yummy chicken ham croissant, a glass of orange juice was served after I took this photo. TG676 was an Airbus A380 flight. The double-deck, wide-body jet contained personal screens for each seat, and THAI provided a wide variety of movies, music, TV programs and more. It was a very nice flight as always with THAI. Yep, I'm a big fan of Thai Airways International.
