Suvarnabhumi Airport to Pattaya by bus

I took this photo somewhere close to Suvarnabhumi International Airport in Bangkok, Thailand. I was heading for Pattaya, Chonburi by bus and my seat was in the first row, so I could really enjoy viewing lively scenery through the front window. It was after a 6-hour long-haul flight, and it  was the very beginning of a 2-hour bus journey from the airport to Pattaya, but I was't tired at all. I was just feeling like a kid in a candy store. The views from my seat was just super and it was so much fun viewing everything from there. FYI, you'll fund the bus ticket counter on Level 1 next to Gate 8 at Suvarnabhumi Airport.

ข้าวจี่ with a can of Thai beer

I took this photo in my hotel room in Pattaya, Thailand and the photo shows Khao Jee (Thai: ข้าวจี่) and a can of Singha. Khao Jee is one of my favourite Thai Isan food and is could be translated into English as Grilled Sticky Rice. I love it, it's yummy. Since sticky rice is a staple food in Isan (Thai: อีสาน, English: Northeastern) district in Thailand, I could find ข้าวจี่ in Korat (Nakhon Ratchasima) easily, but in Pattaya, I rarely see them. So when I saw them on a street in North Pattaya, I bought them immediately.

Have you seen that?

I took this photo in Pattaya, Thailand around sunset. After this beautiful time of the day, Pattaya city will turn into the nightlife centre of Chon Buri province literally and visibly. Pattaya is a beach resort city, and is not like a small hidden secluded resort, so there are so many things to do and see in the whole area of the city. I think that is why the beach is normally not very crowded around sunset. I'm wondering how many people have seen sunset views in Pattaya. People find something more interesting and they go there instead of viewing this on the beach. Or some people spend more money and viewing the beach from above.

Hands of bananas and a banana blossom

I took this photo at a beach front restaurant in Pattaya, Thailand. The restaurant is on Beach Road in Pattaya Central and their tropical garden is like an eye candy for passersby. I took this photo in the middle of September, and I was so impressed viewing hands of bananas and its large banana flowers near a cute white replica of Manneken Pis. By the way, banana blossom salad is called ยำหัวปลี in Thai term. Yep, it's edible, and it's yummy. Anyway, I was using this photo as my blog's title image for a long time. Today I've changed the title image, so put this photo in a post.

กุ้งผัดบร็อคโคลี่

The photo shows กุ้งผัดบร็อคโคลี่ which I had at my hotel's on-site restaurant in Pattaya, Thailand. It looks good, doesn't it? กุ้งผัดบร็อคโคลี่ could be translated into English as stir-fried broccoli with prawns. Since Pattaya is known as a beach resort city in central Thailand, having their fantastic seafood recipes is one of the most important must-dos during vacation. So I did, and will do. กุ้งผัดบร็อคโคลี่ is one of my favourite seafood recipes, so I was really happy having that yummy one with cold bottles of Singha beer.

BOGOF

I took this photo in Pattaya, Thailand. It's always so much fun to walk around the city while checking out some specific topics. It was on the second day of my last trip to Pattaya, and I was walking around Central Pattaya and South Pattaya to make a decision where I would go for drink and eat during my trip. I was just personally comparing between some places looked fairly new and some places I've been to and satisfied during my previous trip to Pattaya. The Happy Hours ad board in front of Cadillac Cafe Bar was really tempting. BOGOF, except for wine. Also, the place itself looked super cool. It's located right on Pattaya Beach Road, Central Pattaya.

Sit on the edge of my seat at Tiffany's Show

I'm in Pattaya, Thailand right now. Yesterday, the city had gotten quite a shower in the morning, but the heavy rain didn't last for a long time. Everything is perfect and it's so much fun being here. Last night I went to watch Tiffany's Show in North Pattaya. Tiffany's Show is one of the very popular Pattaya city's attractions, and is also a very famous must-see. Tiffany's Show is described as a transvestite cabaret show, but not only that. There, I could see a lot more than that. The show was very well considered entertainment performance. I was kinda sitting back before the thick curtains were unveiled, but right after the show had started, I was definitely sitting on the edge of my seat and it lasted until the end of the show.

ผัดผักบุ้งผัดไก่

I'm in Pattaya, Thailand right now and the photo shows ผัดผักบุ้งผัดไก่. One of the dishes of my last night's dinner. ผัดผักบุ้ง is like a stir-fried tropical vegetable, and is a very popular food here in Thailand. It's my favourite too. Yesterday, Ihad ผัดผักบุ้ง for lunch as well, so for dinner I ordered slightly different one. ผัดผักบุ้งผัดไก่ is like a stir-fried tropical vegetable with chicken. I ordered one more dish and a bottle of Singha, of course with some ice cubes. It was a very nice dinner at a local eatery on Pattaya Sai 3 Road.

Pink fridge is here in my hotel room

The photo shows pink fridge in my hotel room. I'm in Pattaya, Thailand right now. I've heard or read an article somewhere else about colourful electronic products in Thailand. If my memory is correct, white electronic products are worst popular here in Thailand, and people tend to choose other than white. I don't remember who told me about that, or which article I've read, though. Viewing this pink fridge, it reminds nods me of that story. What's inside? 3 cans of Singha and some flavoured milk.

I'm in Pattaya, right under the ceiling fan

I'm in Pattaya, Thailand since last night. Right now it's around 4 am and the temperature is 29 degrees in Celsius. According to a weather website, the temperature reaches 31 degrees today. 2 more degrees in the daytime. My hotel room has AC, plus a fantastic fan on the ceiling. Not to mention it is so confortable laying down under the tropical ceiling fan. It's 4 am, but I woke up without any tiredress. Might it mean that I still can't fix my jet lag or something? I think have plenty of time to take another power nap before breakfast eateries will be getting ready to start their business.
