Fancy loco moco
Took this photo at a restaurant in Tokyo, Japan when I had a fancy loco moco for a lunch. This one was relatively expensive than many other weekday lunch in Tokyo, but it was worth having definitely. White rice was covered up with the hamburger patty and rich gravy. A sunny-side up covered them all and accompanied Hawaiian orchid to put icing on the cake or something. The point was that the hamburger patty and Gravy were made from A5 grade wagyu beef. The juicy hamburger patty and rich very rich gravy were match made in heaven.

You can't see them all when the time is limited
I took this photo in Zagreb, Croatia near the main railway station: Zagreb Glavni kolodvor. Just like the direction board indicates, there are many must-sees in the city of Zagreb and you'll definitely enjoy to walk around the city. I spent for a couple of weeks in Zagreb, and took nearly 400 photos during my time. I thought I walked around a lot and saw everything what I wanted to see, but on the day of my departure, I realised that I didn't see all. The cab to the airport took a totally different routes from my walking routes and that made me want to go back to Zagreb again.

Once-in-a-lifetime experience
This is the church of Santa Maria delle Grazie in Milan, Italy. The Last Supper by Leonardo da Vinci is inside of this beautiful church. The church of Santa Maria delle Grazie is listed in UNESCO World Heritage Site. The architecture of Santa Maria delle Grazie is one of the must-sees of Milan. The large mural painting is on the wall of the dining hall, but you can't get in and out you need a ticket for the Last Supper. For me, seeing the Last Supper was once-in-a-lifetime experience and it was the highlight of my time in Milan.

Euro symbol in front of Eurotower in 2013
I took this photo in front of Eurotower in Frankfurt am Main, Germany in December 2013. I walked around the area during the day and at night as well and took several photos of the Euro symbol. It looked awesome especially at night just like the photo shows. I don't remember exact the time, but it was like after sightseeing and before dinner. Anyway, not to mention I was not the only one who was taking photos there around that time. Actually, many people were doing the same thing.

Tower Bridge in London, England, the UK
The photo shows Tower Bridge in London, England, the United Kingdom. The sun wasn't at the right position for a photograph when I went there, so this one is a photoshopped pic. The original photo was taken from the Tower of London side of the river bank of Thames somewhere around the end of October at 10:00 am, so it was like a typical shadowy photography in sunlight. After a while, I crossed the bridge to the other side of the river bank and enjoyed to take some more better photos of one of the most famous bridges in London.

A street view of Bangkok from above in 2003
Here is my another photo of a street view of Bangkok, Thailand in 2003. The photo was taken through the window of my hotel room of Baiyoke Sky Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand (as well as my previous post about a couple of months ago). Traffic jam in Bangkok, Thailand used to looked like the photo shows. The captured moment was like colourful vehicles were waiting in a line for the passage of a train. It's been 15 years since then, and now I would love to stay at Baiyoke Sky Hotel again and want to see how things look different now.

Those flowers have really made my day.
I took this photo in my hotel room in Bangkok, Thailand right after the beautiful flowers were delivered to my room. The pretty-arranged flowers were one of the hotel's comps. I was really happy to have those flowers in my hotel room. Beautiful, isn't it? The hotel is named Montien Riverside Hotel and is located on Rama III road. A very nice hotel with some very nice restaurants on site. The views from their river view rooms are always fantastic. Not only that, but I always enjoy having river view dinner at their Thai Vietnamese restaurant Sai Chol.

Paint the town green
I took this photo at a pub in London, England, the United Kingdom. Ordered a half pint of Guinness at the bar, and took a photo of it before I touched it. First things first (when I travel). The pub was named the Sussex Arms, and was located near London Paddington Station. A very nice pub with great atmosphere. Actually, my original photo was taken in some blue-ish lights. Since March 17 is Saint Patricks Day, I photoshopped the pic a little bit, and now it looks like the photo was taken in some greenish lights in a way. Paint the town green on St. Patricks Day.

A fabulous Italian place in Sin city
I took this photo while I was enjoying the fabulous evening at Fellini's Italian Restaurant in Las Vegas, the USA. Fellini's Italian Restaurant in located on the casino floor of Stratosphere Hotel and Casino. I personally believe that Fellini's Italian Restaurant is simply the best Italian that I've been outside of Italy. Interior design of Fellini's Italian Restaurant was just so nice. With that, I felt like I was dining at a hidden great ristorante somewhere in Italy. That night, I ordered a bottle of Budweiser and Linguine Vongole and a few more items. It was a great great great unforgettable dinner.

With or without, two different tastes
The photo was taken at a restaurant of Stratosphere Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada, the United States of America. I was staying at Stratosphere Hotel and the restaurant was on the ground floor. I ordered a bottle of corona extra at the beginning of dinner and ordered the second bottle of corona afterwards. Some beers go really well with lemon wedge or lime wedge. Of course, corona it is, but not only corona. Let's say Hoegaarden. Hoegaarden is a Belgian wheat beer (a.k.a. white beer) and its taste will dramatically change with a lemon wedge.

A cup espresso in Porto, Portugal
Back when I was in Porto, Portugal, one of my acquaintances texted me. She wrote that the name of Porto reminded her of fond memories of Porto as well as cups of espresso and glasses of Port Wine. That time, I already enjoyed a lot of things in Porto, but still haven't had a cup of espresso. So I started to enjoy it after read the text from her. Better late than never. The photo shows one of the cups of espresso which I had in Porto, Portugal. After Rio Douro Cruise, took a stroll around the city for a while and had a yummy Portuguese lunch at an eatery. After lunch, I ordered a cup of espresso.
My first beer in Barcelona
The photo shows my first glass of beer in Barcelona, Spain. The beer was on tap and I had it with a couple of kinds of tapas and authentic Paella. Since it was my arrival day in Barcelona, Spain, I did some ground research nearby my hotel with my camera in one hand. After that, I enjoyed having late lunch with some drinks at a pub. Very nice atmosphere there. Actually, I started my sightseeing from the second day in Barcelona, so the late lunch at the pub was one of my very nice fond memories on the arrival day in Barcelona. I have so many fond memories all the other days in Barcelona.

So close, but yet so far
I took this photo in Vientiane, Laos. The river bank where I was standing in Vientiane, Laos is the place where you can view Nong Khai, Thailand over the Mekong river. The Mekong river is the border between Laos and Thailand. I've been to Laos twice, and actually this is my third photo which I have taken in Laos. The first photo was taken in my hotel room, the second photo was taken at Nam Phou (sometimes it's spelled Namphou). Nam Phou means fountain in English and it's situated in the heart of the capital. Anyway, the third photo was this.

An empty glass of Stella Artois
I took this photo at a Belgium restaurant and bar in North Pattaya, Thailand. If my memory is correct, I drank up two pints of Stella Artois and the photo was taken after that. Stella Artois is my favourite beer, and I love its glass as well. So while I was waiting for my bill or something like that, I took a photo of the empty glass. When I'm in Thailand, normally I drink Thai beer, like Singha, Chang, Leo and so on and I love them, but sometimes I choose European beer like Stella Artis or Guinness and so on.

The street was jammed with busses
The photo shows a street view of Bangkok, Thailand in 2003. I took this photo through the window of my hotel room of Baiyoke Sky Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand. Traffic jam in Bangkok used to like the photo shows. Colourful vehicles were waiting in a line to move forward, but they seemed just jammed and just stayed there. By the way, Baiyoke Sky Hotel is located in Pratunam area as well as Baiyoke Suite Hotel. I've stayed at Baiyoke Sky Hotel twice, and have stayed at Baiyoke Suite Hotel once. They were very nice hotels with very convenient locations.

Walk along a shoreline
The photo shows a beach in Ko Samet (a.k.a. Samet island, Thai: เกาะเสม็ด) in Rayong province, Thailand. Ko (Thai: เกาะ, also spelled Koh in English) means island. To get to Ko Samet, I spent a night at a hotel in Rayong, and the following morning, took a ferry to get to the island. I spent a few laid-back days in Ko Samet and after that backed to the capital Bangkok. If my memory is correct, a Thai local told me that Ko Samet is the third largest island of Thailand, and I was also told that the largest island of Thailand is Phuket.

Goldstar on tap on the beach
I took this photo at a restaurant on a beach in Tel Aviv, Israel. I stopped by the restaurant for lunch. But first, I ordered Israeli beer. My table was right next to the beach. So, after Goldstar was served on tap, I took this photo first, then after that I started to enjoy the beer, the atmosphere, and everything under the perfect weather. It was the day before my departure and I already really loved Israel. While viewing the beach with the glass of beer in hand, I was thinking when I will be able to come back to Tel Aviv again. I went back to Tel Aviv three years later.

A quarter century is such a long time
The photo shows my breakfast which I had at my hotel in Milan, Italy. I might mentioned somewhere in this blog, but I say again, I'm a big fan of Italian cuisine for over a quarter century. I really love pasta and risotto, but not only pasta or risotto, I love many more Italian cuisine. When I was in Italy, I was always thinking about food, and I was like "what will I be eating for lunch today and where?", "what will I be eating for dinner tonight and where?", and it was so much fun to think about it, and actually had them.
