This is my very first photo which I took in Vientiane, Laos. I've been to Laos twice and the photo shows my hotel room of my first visit to Laos. I knew there was land route to get to Laos from Thailand, but for the first visit, I chose Thai Airways flight to get there. After the short-haul flight, I caught a cab to the hotel and took a picture of my room. My second photo of Laos was Nam Phou; the fountain which is located in the heart of Vientiane. My third photo of Laos was a view of Thailand looked over the Mekong river. That means I followed a common tourist trails during my first few hours in Laos.
