London Eye at twilight
I took this photo in London, England, the United Kingdom. That day I enjoyed a train journey from London to Alton, and then Alton to London. South West Trains' Alton Line runs between London Waterloo and Alton. London Waterloo Station is just around the corner from the world's famous gigantic Ferris wheel, The London Eye. When my train arrived to London Waterloo, it was a little too early to see the lightning, so I walked around the area and waited until dark. After taking a lot of photos of the London Eye and its surrounding area, I went to an Italian place to have dinner.

I'm a Thai Suki lover
I took this photo while I was having a Thai Suki dinner at my favorite Thai Suki place in Chinatown (a.k.a. Yaowaraj, Thai: เยาวราช) in Bangkok, Thailand. Thai Suki is kind of like a hot pot and is simply called Suki (Thai: สุกี้) amongst Thais. You can choose your favorite meat, vegetables, seafood, dumplings, noodles and so on and cook them in a pot of broth on the table. When it's done, dip your ingredients Thai into sauce and then eat them. Pretty simple. Normally, I choose 8 - 10 dishes for a dinner, so the photo shows only a part of them. I ordered more dishes and had them with a bottle of Singha.

The Old Giant Swing
I took this photo in August 2003 in Bangkok, Thailand. The photo shows the Old Giant Swing. The swing was taken down in 2006 and rebuilt, that was why I wrote that the Old Giant Swing. Since the Giant Swing is one of the popular landmarks amongst the tourists in Bangkok and catches all the attention, I've found a T-shirt with a image of the Giant Swing and I bought it. The T-shirt had a lot of images of landscapes in Bangkok and the Giant Swing was one of them. You can see the Giant Swing in front of Wat Suthat. Check it out.
Man with a good heart
I took this photo in my hotel room in Porto, Portugal. I went on a shopping spree in Porto and bought these Portuguese souvenirs. I still have them all and I'm using them. Every and every encounter in Porto and Lisbon was just super. The locals were so friendly and very very kind. This is just my opinion, but I felt that Portuguese people treat other people with respect. I don't know how to explain this clearly, but for example when I was in some other European countries, I was just an Asian or a tourist and I felt so. But when I was in Portugal, I was really happy having a little conversations with the locals, because everybody cares about other people as a person with a good heart. I can hardly meet people like Portuguese. Thank you everybody.

LY337 TLV - AMS; Nov 2013
The photo shows an in-flight meal of El Al Israel Airlines flight LY337 Tel Aviv, Israel to Amsterdam, the Netherlands (TLV - AMS). It was about a five-and-a-quarter-hour flight. Tel Aviv was a really nice city to stay. I really enjoyed one week vacation on the long white sand beach with having yummy Mediterranean cuisine and good beers. My flight to Amsterdam was a morning flight and the breakfast was served on the plane. I could choose one out of three menus, I chose the one: 5 a day. Five-color Israeli Salad, two cups of yogurt, a cup of tea and drinking water and so on. I'm a big fan of Israeli Salad, so I was very happy to have one more Israeli Salad on my outbound flight to Europe. It was very, very nice breakfast. Toda.

A pub on Pattaya Soi 8
I took this photo at a pub on Pattaya Soi 8 in Pattaya, Thailand. The photo shows their ceiling decoration. As you can imagine, there are so many pubs on Soi 8 itself, but this one was located on the ground floor of my hotel. So it was quite convenient to have cold ones there. I mean when I went up stairs, there was my room and I could go to bed. Sounds like a dreamy place to stay (for people like me). The pub had a bar counter and bar stools, a few tables and sofas, a billiard table, plus music. The next doors were a Spa and a Go-Go Club.

The litter bin was shaped like a shark
I took this photo at Siam Ocean World (Thai: สยามโอเชี่ยนเวิร์ล) which was located in the heart of Bangkok, Thailand, on the first basement of Siam Paragon (Thai: สยามพารากอน). I really enjoyed staying in Asia's largest aquarium and finding out something interesting. A lot of things I saw in Siam Ocean World were coordinated in a way of man-made ocean world. For example, a litter bin was shaped like a shark like the photo shows. So when you were in Siam Ocean World, you could put your cans in the shark's mouth.

Tie her up till dawn
This is my another photo of a sunset view with glass bottom boats in Hikkaduwa, Sri Lanka. I didn't choose an ocean view hotel that time, so I crossed the street to get to the Hilkaduwa beach and waited the right moment on the beach. Hikkaduwa beach is in a way Sri Lanka's Southwestern most beach where you can enjoy viewing the sun set over the Indian Ocean. Beaches in Southern villages are also super, and beautiful, but you can't view the sun set over the Indian Ocean, I mean geographically. Magnificent view, isn't it?

Viewing Patuxai from the outside
I took this photo in Vientiane, Laos and the photo shows Patuxai. Patuxai is a war monument and is known as Victory Gate in English term. People are able to go to the top of the monument. If you are not afraid of heights, you can enjoy viewing the city of Vientiane from above. It's located at the end of Lang Xang Avenue and the park around the monument has a relaxing atmosphere to take a little break from your sightseeing itinerary. Since surrounding area of Patuxai is a park, you don't need to worry about running cars or tuk-tuks while you are taking your photograph or something.

Kai Yang Khao Niaow Tod: ไก่ย่างข้าวเหนียวทอด
The photo shows Kai Yang Khao Niaow Tod (Thai: ไก่ย่างข้าวเหนียวทอด). It could be translated into English as Grilled Fried Chicken with Fried Thai Sticky Rice. Kai Yang (or Gai Yang, Thai: ไก่ย่าง) and Khao Niaow (Thai: ข้าวเหนียว) are a very popular food in Northeastern Thailand where the area being known as Isan (Thai: อีสาน). I took this photo in Pattaya, Thailand. Pattaya is a beach town a one-and-a-half hour drive from Suvarnabhumi Airport, but I found a nice Isan place there. I ordered a large bottle of Chang Beer and Grilled Fried Chicken with Fried Thai Sticky Rice (Thai: ไก่ย่างข้าวเหนียวทอด). They looked cute together on a plate, and tasted yummy, I loved that.

Asian conical hats were sold on a boat
I took this photo at Damnoen Saduak Floating Market (Thai: ตลาดน้ำดำเนินสะดวก). A floating market is originally a place where you can buy goods or foods from boats, but the floating market in Damnoen Saduak has become a massive tourist attraction. Also, point is that it's within driving distance from the capital Bangkok, Thailand, so there's no sense of nostalgia or something anymore, but I think you can enjoy in a way. I had fun there. The photo shows one of the boats. A vender on the boat was selling a lot of Asian conical hats like them.

Decorated with broken porcelain
I took this photo at Wat Arun (Thai: วัดอรุณ, a.k.a. Temple of Dawn) in Bangkok, Thailand. Wat (Thai: วัด) means temple, Arun (Thai: อรุณ) means dawn. Wat Arun is located on the west bank of the Chao Phraya River where the area is known as Thonburi, the former capital of Siam during the King Taksin the Great era. The reverse side of the 10 Baht coin has a stunning image of Wat Arun on it. Spires of Wat Arun is decorated with a lot of porcelain which had been used as ballast by ships from China came all the way to Bangkok. The photo shows decoration porcelain on the central spire. They were more than that, and they sparkle in the sunshine that is why the temple is named Wat Arun. Temple of Dawn.

Viewing train sheds from outside
I took this photo in Antwerp, Belgium. I went to Antwerp, Belgium to see one of the world's most beautiful train stations as well as tasting authentic Belgian beers. The photo shows train sheds from outside. Since Antwerpen Centraal Railway Station is one of the most beautiful train stations in the world, viewing train sheds from outside is not only viewing train sheds from outside, its meaning is much more special. When I took this photo, my time in Antwerp was almost over. I had to catch a train to Amsterdam, Holland after ward. I tried to make the most of my time in Antwerp, Belgium.
Catchy skywalk
I found a sort of skywalk in Luxembourg city, Luxembourg. I had no idea how to get there, so I just took a photo of it from below. Two buildings were connected to each other in a catchy way. If there's something interesting, people look at it, so it could be a better idea to put some advertisements on it. This kind of idea is in a way a typical business tactic, but that'll work, I think. Luxembourg city itself has a lot to see, and is a very beautiful city to walk around. You'll have a lot of nice photo opportunities here and there.

MAMA Pork Flavor: มาม่า รสหมูสับ
I took this photo in my hotel room in Pattaya, Thailand. The photo shows MAMA Pork Flavor (Thai: มาม่า รสหมูสับ). This was yummy, very yummy. I put some chilies in it and ate it as breakfast. Mama is a very famous (and of course very popular) instant noodles brand and is Thai origin. I've been a big fan of MAMA for a long long long time. So if there's an electric kettle in my hotel room, I'll cook MAMA definitely. That morning, I had a cup of MAMA noodles, some dragon fruit (Thai: แก้วมังกร) with a bottle of tea, then headed for Pattaya beach after that.

Stay at a cottage in Ko Samet, Thailand
I took this photo in Ko Samet (a.k.a. Samet island, Thai: เกาะเสม็ด), Thailand. Ko (Thai: เกาะ) means island, by the way. Ko Samet is an island in Rayong province where you can enjoy your time on an idyllic beach or a quiet secluded beach. There are a lot of accommodations in the island in sort of different classes, you know what I mean. I chose to stay at a cottage on the island and the photo shows mine. At night, I went to a beach near a high-end accommodation and immersed myself in such atmosphere, then went back to my cottage to sleep.
Have a safe trip
I took this photo at Hualamphong Station (Thai: หัวลำโพง) in Bangkok, Thailand before catching a train to get to Nakhon Ratchasima (a.k.a. Korat). I bought a second class car return ticket in advance and cost 325 THB each journey. The train No. 71 departed from Bangkok at 10:05 and estimated arrival time in Korat was 14:27. I had Khao Man Gai (a.k.a. Hainanese Chicken Rice, Thai: ข้าวมันไก่) at a Food Court in the waiting area as breakfast. Khao Man Gai is a very popular dish in Thailand, so it's ubiquitous, but you can experience something special at the Food Court in Hualamphong Station. Look at your plate before you leave, you can see a train image on it. Enjoy your train journey and have a safe trip.

Nobody can remember everything they read
I took this photo at the Acropolis of Athens, Greece. Since the Acropolis of Athens is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is one of the world's most famous historical sites, so it's very easy to get information about the Acropolis before you actually getting there, but for me, it's hard to remember everything. Anyway, another information about the Acropolis of Athens was displayed like the photo shows. I took this photo right next to the entrance gate of the Acropolis of Athens. The information was written in Greek and English.
After wake up, before breakfast
This is my very first photo of the city of Jerusalem, Israel. Actually I flew into Ben Gurion Airport the day before at noon, but I didn't take any photos of the city on my arrival day. It was just because weekend in Israel. Weekend in Israel are from Friday afternoon to Sunday morning. When I arrived in Jerusalem, the weekly holiday has been already started. So I took some low-key photos inside of my hotel room and that was all. Then, next morning, right after I woke up I opened the window and took this photo. It was early in the morning. The city looked so white and was really beautiful.
