Icing on the cake

I'm in Pattaya, Thailand right now and the photo shows my hotel's swimming pool and its swim-up restaurant bar. After I saw this place's photo on Booking.com, I couldn't stop thinking about this place and now I'm finally here. The hotel rooms are located in their garden-like setting, and the swimming pool and its ideal swim-up restaurant bar is situated right in the middle. Yesterday, I had lunch with Singha beer at the poolside table and enjoyed tanning. Before I got back to my room, I ordered a glass of tropical cocktail with some fresh tropical fruits. It was icing on the cake, totally. I'm gonna do it again.

Khao Tom with 8 Prawns

I'm in Pattaya, Thailand right now. Yesterday, I spent a nice evening  stroll, had yummy dinner at a local Isan place, had an hour foot massage, and had a good rest at night. Then now, it's already sunny and bright morning. I just had breakfast at my hotel's restaurant. I ordered Thai traditional boiled rice named Khao Tom (Thai: ข้าวต้ม) with Thai prawns (Thai: กุ้ง) and a glass of fresh orange juice. I took this photo before I left the table. It seems my Khao Tom had 8 Prawns in it. I love Thai prawns so I'm very happy to know that.

It's better viewing, not shutter bugging

I took this photo at the place so-called Pattaya View Point. The location is on the hill and its view point is famous for offering panoramic views of the city of Pattaya. One day I was waiting for night to get there to take some night view photos, but when I got there and started to take photos, I just realised that it was too late to take nicer photos of a panoramic view of Pattaya. It was absolutely too dark. Well, the photo was terrible, but the view was stunning, so it was better late than never, but I'll try to go there slightly after the sun set next time.

Snowmen are coming down the stairs

I took this photo in front of Central Festival Pattaya Beach in December 2010. Central Festival Pattaya Beach is a huge shopping mall in the heart of Pattaya. There are two entrances faces to Pattaya 2nd Road and the opposite side faces to Pattaya Beach Road. Pattaya beach is just across from Central Festival Pattaya Beach. I took this photo at the beach side. Central Festival Pattaya Beach is connected to the Hilton Pattaya and Hilton Pattaya's rooftop restaurant bar has been receiving rave reviews from the people who has already visited as well as the people who want to visit the rooftop bar one day and I'm the latter.

The high temperature reaches 30 degrees or so...

I saw this guy at the T-junktion of the Beach Road and the Central Road in Pattaya, Thailand during the last last holiday season. Father Christmas was standing there. Pattaya beach was right behind him. Everybody around him was wearing casual summer cloths like a tank-top, like a T-shirt, or only wearing a swimming costume. Father Christmas was the only guy who was wearing thick winter clothes, so he was standing out like a mile. People were taking selfies in front of him and vendors were trying to sell selfie sticks to them. It was so much fun being there.

Go with the flow and just lay back

I took this photo in Pattaya, Thailand when I was taking a stroll around the beach road somewhere in between Soi 5 and Soi 6. My upcoming trip to Pattaya is 6 days away. I wanna make the most of my trip, but I don't make solid itinerary or something like that. When it comes to Pattaya, I believe that solid plans are too much. Just go with the flow is the best way to enjoy the city itself 100 percent. But, I have some places really wanna go back and want to visit for the first time, so I just penciled in those places on my flexible itinerary, just in case.

Cook on your table and have fun

I took this photo at TEXAS Suki in in Chinatown (a.k.a. Yaowaraj, Thai: เยาวราช) in Bangkok, Thailand. It's a Thai Suki restaurant. There are so many Thai Suki restaurants in Bangkok, and my favourite place is right on Soi TEXAS in Chinatown, Bangkok. Thai word Soi means street in English term. Since Texas Suki is very popular, the street was named after Texas Suki so I was told. Thai Suki is kind of like a hot pot meal and is simply called Suki (Thai: สุกี้). You choose ingredient first, and cook them in a hot pot on your table. That's simple, and it's so much fun.

That's the place where I wanna go some time

I took this photo on the world-famous walking street in Pattaya, Thailand. Hundreds of bars, restaurants, GoGo clubs, massage parlours and everything are lines up on the both sides of this walking street and its side streets just like the photo shows. I took this photo near Ice Bar. The place always catches my attention and sounds so cool as you can imagine from its name. Seeing this place reminds me of a James Bond film Die Another Day. My up-coming trip to Pattaya is 12 days away and counting. I still don't have any specific plans for my arrival night. So this place, Ice Bar on Pattaya Walking Street is a possibility.

Take me to Chinatown from the airport

The photo shows a station sign of the Airport Rail Link in Bangkok, Thailand. I took this photo at Suvarnabhumi station which is the airport station of the same name. Airport Rail Link operates in between Suvarnabhumi International Airport and Phaya Thai Station via Makkasan Station. Makkasan Station and MRT (a.k.a. Bangkok Metro) Phetchaburi Station is connected to each other via Skywalk. Phaya Thai Station links and BTS (a.k.a. Bangkok Sky Train) station of the same name is juxtaposed to each other. After taking this photo, I caught a City Line (the blue line) to Makkasan Station and transferred to MRT. I got out of the Bangkok Metro at Hualamphong (the terminal station) to get to Chinatown in Bangkok.

ข้าวมันไก่ @ Hualamphong Station

The photo shows Khao Man Gai (a.k.a. Hainanese Chicken Rice, Thai: ข้าวมันไก่) which I had for breakfast at a Food Court in the waiting area of Hualamphong Station (a.k.a. Bangkok Railway Station, Thai: หัวลำโพง) in Bangkok, Thailand. Khao Man Gai is a very popular meal in Thailand, so you can have it anywhere in Thailand, but you can experience something very special at the Food Court in Hualamphong Station. If you look at your plate carefully, you can see a train image on it. It's like a proof that you had your meal at the Food Court in Bangkok Railway Station. I think that's so cool.

Think about the things I can do and I can't do

I took this photo in my hotel room in Pattaya, Thailand. The hotel was right on Soi 8 Pattaya Beach Road and there was a night club with a bar on the ground floor of the hotel, so their guests always go through the club to get to their rooms right above hectic Soi 8. I spent 30 days in the room exactly like the photo shows, not to mention it was so lovely. The next doors of the hotel was a go-go and a spa, by the way. It was a very very convenient location to do every single things that I wanted to do in Pattaya during my last last vacation. My next trip to Pattaya is 19 days away and counting. Now I'm thinking about things I can do and I can't do.

Hey sea turtle, where are you headed?

The photo shows a sea turtle that I saw in Hikkaduwa, Sri Lanka. I've seen them several times during my 8-day vacation in Hikkaduwa. Hikkaduwa is a town on the South Western coast of Sri Lanka. Not to mention it is one of the most popular beach towns in Sri Lanka. If you head any further to South from Hikkaduwa, you'll hit Gale and Unawatuna in a row. My favorite destination in Sri Lanka is Unawatuna, but I like Hikkaduwa too. There are many reasons that I says so, but if I have to choose one, viewing the sun set over the Indian Oean. Unawatuna beach is right on the Southern coast, so you can't view the sun set over the Indian Ocean.

TG683 HND - BKK; Sep 2015

The photo shows an in-flight meal of Thai Airways International flight TG683 Haneda, Tokyo to Bangkok, Thailand (HND - BKK). It was about a seven-hour flight. In-flight meal was served as lunch and refreshment. The first meal was savory Thai Green Curry (Thai: แกงเขียวหวาน) and chicken salad with some rice and bread, plus dessert. Everything was so yummy as usual. Thai Airways was cerebrating its 55th anniversary, it was described on a paper napkin. Refreshment was served about an hour before landing. It was a cup of ice cream and I chose green tea flavor, like Matcha flavor. Two passengers next to me didn't tell any, and they were served vanilla flavor.

Big C on Pattaya 2nd road

I took this photo in front of Big C Supercenter in Pattaya, Thailand almost 2 years ago. It was around the middle of December, so a tall holiday tree were displayed like the photo shows. Big C is like a huge super market, and there are a few more Big Cs in Pattaya, Thailand. You can find a lot of them all over Thailand. When I'm in Pattaya, Thailand, my usual Big C is in North Pattaya on the 2nd Road. I can say it's located right in between a couple of famous transvestite cabaret shows in Pattaya; Tiffany and Alcazar. If I describe the location like that, many people in Pattaya surely understand which Big C I'm talking about.

Get on 389 bus to Pattaya from Suvarnabhumi

I took this photo in Pattaya, Thailand a couple of years ago around the middle of December. My flight flew into Suvarnabhumi Airport around three thirty. After passing through immigration and everything at the airport, I went down to the floor level 1 and walked toward the gate 8 to get a 389 bus ticket to Pattaya. I was told the next bus would be fully seated, so I got a seat on the next next bus, but after a while, staff came along and told me that someone gave up the seat of the next bus and I could have the seat instead. So luckily I could arrive at Pattaya an hour earlier. I took this photo through the bus window some time before I got out of the bus.

Cheers for that!

I took this photo at a pub on Khaosan Road in Bangkok, Thailand. That day in the morning I had some papaya for breakfast at my hotel in Nakhon Ratchasima and checked out the hotel around a quarter to ten, then I took a tuk-tuk to Nakhon Ratchasima Railway Station to catch a train to the capital Bangkok. After getting on the train, I bought a food packet for lunch on the train and had it on the way to Bangkok. The train arrived at Hua Lamphong (a.k.a Bangkok Railway Station) around a half past three. I caught a tuk-tuk to my hotel on Soi Rambuttri. I checked in at the hotel, unpacked, changed into something more comfortable, then I got ready to make a beeline for Khaosan Road. First things first, I looked for a cozy beer place and I made it. Cheers for that! A bottle of Chang is ready.

Could he sell ice to an Eskimo?

I took this photo on Pattaya beach in Pattaya, Thailand. It was around the opposite area of Soi Tropicana or Soi 6/1. I borrowed a lounge chair under sun umbrellas and ordered a bottle of Singha at the beginning and then after that things I did was like grabbing a bottle of Singha, staring at the sea, taking a few photo or something like that just to unwind and enjoy the good weather in Pattaya, Thailand. A beach vendor came along with some Thai paintings. First of all, I didn't give a hoot, but eventually I realized that the paintings that he tried to sell were not bad at all. Then I asked him to show me more, and started to choose one. Finally, I bought one of the paintings. I don't have money to burn, but it cost 500THB.

I'm almost there...

I took this photo through a cab window right before the cab arriving at Suvarnabhumi International Airport in Thailand. It was in September 2015, by the way. I always enjoy to have some beer and some Thai food at a restaurant in Suvarnabhumi Airport and I did the same in September 2015 too. My favorite restaurant in Suvarnabhumi Airport is on the 3rd floor, not on the departure floor.     I'm not good at remembering names, but the restaurant was named Eat Tion (if my memory is correct). The food was yummy, staff was super nice, so I'll go there again definitely.

ปลาทอด : Deep fried fish in Thai Style

The photo shows deep fried fish in Thai style called Pla Tod (Thai: ปลาทอด). I'm sure you can find this dish anywhere in Thailand, but sauces are various. I took this photo at a hotel's restaurant in Chinatown, Bangkok, Thailand. Their sauce was very spicy and I really loved it. Even when I stay at a different hotel in different area, I went to visit the hotel in Chinatown just for having their Pla Tod and some other Thai food with cold Singha at their restaurant. Their sauce for Pla Tod was like a work genius for spicy Thai food lovers like me.

View of Soi 2 from Soi 3

I took this photo from my hotel's rooftop in Pattaya, Thailand. The hotel was located on Soi 3, just a few minutes walk to Pattaya beach. There was a nice swimming pool and a swim-up bar on the rooftop and I loved to spend time there. It was more than 11 years ago, so the landscape of North Pattaya is slight different now. Next month, I will revisit Pattaya and I already booked a room at a hotel with a bar in a swimming pool. My country is getting chillier and chillier so I'm really looking forward to going back to Thailand. It'll be my 32nd entry to Thailand. I'm obsessed with Thailand especially Pattaya.

Google research first, and then ground research

I took this photo in North Pattaya, Thailand. I've been to Pattaya many times, but normally stay in Central Pattaya. My next trip to Pattaya will be a tad different. I chose a hotel in North Pattaya, and I have 40 days until my stay. So now I'm thinking things what I wanna do in North Pattaya. Not to mention I'll definitely visit Central Pattaya and South Pattaya as usual,  but I'll have more time in North Pattaya. I love new experience, so I started to google about North Pattaya and will make my very own must-dos. I really wanna make the most of my upcoming 6-day vacation.

A pint of Stella Artois in Pattaya, Thailand

The photo shows a pint of Draft Stella Artois which I had at a Thai-Belgium place on Naklua Road in North Pattaya, Thailand. I found that nice place almost a couple of years ago during my last-last trip to Pattaya. My next trip has been confirmed last night. I'll go back to Pattaya, Thailand in the following month. Next time, I'll stay in North Pattaya. My hotel's gonna be just around the corner from the fabulous Thai-Belgium place. So, I'll go another round and then some. I can't wait.

It's just a hop, skip, and a jump away

I took this in Koh Larn (being also spelled Ko Lan, Thai; เกาะล้าน), Thailand. I enjoyed a half day trip to Koh Larn from Pattaya, Thailand and took this photo while I was drinking some Thai beer on the white sand beach. Koh Larn is the nearest island from Pattaya, Thailand. The island is known as coral island, and its pearly white sands and emerald green sea are one of the must-sees in the area. When you stay in Pattaya, Thailand, Koh Larn is the best island to visit for a change. It's just a hop, skip, and a jump away from Pattaya.

On top of that, there it was.

I took this photo at the observation deck of the Main Tower in Frankfurt, Germany. The observation deck was on the top of the 56 stories's building which was named after Main River. There was this on the top of the building, so it seemed like getting the 'top' of the Main Tower was yet so far, but still. I enjoyed seeing a 360-degree view of Frankfurt from that high place, and I was also impressed with the thoughtful technology of its lift. It's often said that half the fun is getting there, and the saying was true when it comes to the Main Tower.

Grolsch premium lager

The photo shows a can of Grolsch premium lager which I bought at a corner shop near my hotel in London, England, the United Kingdom, and I took this photo in my hotel room while I was enjoying a mid-afternoon break. That day was a bit of strange. I was in London, England, but things I had was quite international. E.g. Vindaloo Chicken Curry and Vegetable Basmati Rice with a bottle of Cobra beer at an Indian place for lunch, Penne Salmone Toscana with some draft of Peroni at an Italian place for dinner, and Grolsch beer on this photo is Dutch-made. It was like a sort of melting pot of food and drinks.

Not in the middle of nowhere

I took this photo near the Giza pyramid complex in Giza, Egypt. I was being near the bottom of the pyramid of Khafre. Before I got there, I didn't know that the world-famous Giza pyramid complex and the city were that close to each other.  I was just thinking the Giza pyramid complex was in the middle of nowhere or in other words, it was deep inside of the Egyptian desert, but I was totally wrong in that case. How come I was thinking like that? I have no idea. The truth was exactly like the photo shows. Jaw-dropping.

I could afford to buy it, but I couldn't find it

I took this photo in my hotel room in Unawatuna, Sri Lanka. The hotel offered free Wi-Fi service. Wi-Fi signal was strong near the door, and not anymore in the balcony, so I was there right beside the door. By the way, I loved the key ring with a little elephant. Each room key had the same type of elephant's key rings, but colors were different. I mean each little elephant wore different colors of blanket. The cute little elephants (and room keys) were lined up on the reception counter and they looked so cute. I wanted to buy one, but I couldn't find the same one in the village.

ผัดผักบร็อคโคลี่น้ำมันหอย

This was yummy. Stir-fried broccoli with oyster sauce and garlic (Thai: ผัดผักบร็อคโคลี่น้ำมันหอย). That day in Pattaya, Thailand, I took a double-deck ferry to Koh Larn in the morning, and returned to Pattaya in the afternoon. In the evening, I went to my usual restaurant and ordered a large bottle of cold Singha and a couple of Thai menus. I was in the mood for some vegetables and broccoli is my favorite, so I ordered Stir-fried broccoli with oyster sauce and garlic. The sauce was just right, and broccoli was cooked perfectly. Absolutely delicious and went well with Singha beer.

Korat fingerpost

I took this photo near Thanon Chira Junction Railway Station in Nakhon Ratchasima (a.k.a. Korat), Thailand. Nakhon Ratchasima Railway Station and Thanon Chira Junction Railway Station are both in Korat and they are next to each other, but Thanon Chira Junction Railway Station is closer to downtown Korat than Nakhon Ratchasima Railway Station. The fingerpost shows สถานีรถไฟ is over there which means the station is over there. I don't think a lot of tourists read this as a sign, but I loved this view with this cool fingerpost so I took a photo there.

Hello carved pumpkins

I took this photo in Notting Hill, London, England, the United States of America. There were some carved pumpkins and pseudo spider webs in front of someone's house for Halloween. Those carved pumpkins looked cute together so I took a photo of them. After that, I walked toward Portobello Road and took a stroll around for a while. Portobello Road is one of the must-sees in Notting Hill district in north-west London. The street is famous for its markets. I bought a nice cardigan there. I think it's already time to wear it again.

Smoked cheese with cumin seeds

I took this photo in my hotel room in Amsterdam, Holland. During my 8-day vacation in Amsterdam, I was so obsessed with Dutch Cheeses. The photo shows one of my favorite ones which I could get them at a supermarket Albert Heijn. The Netherlands is famous for its dairy products, and my humble opinion, the quality of Dutch cheeses is out of this world. They were not only yummy, they were so very yummy. A pack of sliced cheese which I had on that day was like smoked cheese with cumin seeds (Dutch: Gerookte Gesmolten Kaas + Komijn). I miss it right now.

Antoni Gaudí's Casa Batlló, Barcelona

The photo shows a part of Casa Batlló in Barcelona, Spain. I think this is one of the iconic images of Antoni Gaudí's work and it was the one I really wanted to see it with my own two eyes as well as the other famous ones in Barcelona. Case Batlló is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. That's for sure. I can imagine why. I went to visit inside. Inside of this building was like, I don't know how to say, but it was just like a world of Antoni Gaudí. Every details looked really creative, unique, and absolutely stunning. I took a lot of photos.

MyZeil

The photo shows MyZeil Shopping Center in the heart of Frankfurt, Germany. It's located on the Zeil street and the photo shows a view of MyZeil from the Zeil street. What a interesting architecture. I just wanted to find out how the hole looked like from the inside of the building, and just went to visit inside. It was amazing. I was so amazed by the stunning interior design and tricks and everything. I felt like I've just gotten a time machine and visited the year 2200 or something. German technologies are always beyond my imagination and are superb. I just said one word. 'Wow!'.

The roof of Wat Si Saket, Vientiane

The photo shows ornate details of the roof of Wat Si Saket in Vientiane, Laos. Wat Si Saket is located on Lan Xang Road in the capital of Laos and is known as the oldest temple in Vientiane, also  which is known for housing a few thousands of Buddha images. Wat means temple in English term, by the way. There are a lot of temples in Vientiane, Laos. I think Wat Si Saket is the one where you might want to visit as well as Haw Phra Kaew. Haw Phra Kaew is located within easy walking distance of Wat Si Saket. It's just a few-minute walk.

London Bridge

I took this photo at the bottom of London Bridge. First of all, I crossed Tower Bridge from the opposite side of the River Themes and walked along the River Themes, then got there. I crossed London Bridge to get back to the original side of the River Themes. It's kind of odd that if I google about London Bridge, a lot of images of Tower Bridge show up to the result. Tower Bridge is the well-known suspension bridge, and London Bridge is located right next to Tower Bridge. You might have heard an English nursery rhyme 'London Bridge is falling down ... '. The photo shows London Bridge, the name is written on it.

Eat where the locals do

The photo shows a plate of Thai food that I've had in Chinatown in Bangkok, Thailand. After spending 81 days outside of Asia, I took an eleven-hour flight from Milan, Italy to Bangkok, Thailand, then finally came back to Asia for the first time in 82 days. My flight flew in to Suvarnabhumi Airport around 6:00 a.m.. It was too early to check-in to a hotel, so I just dropped my luggage and started a day in Bangkok. First things first, breakfast. What to eat, then? A local woman took me to a food stall (Thai: ร้านข้าวราดแกง) and kindly recommended for me to eat this one. It was so yummy.

You can't have your cake and eat it, too.

The photo shows the Piccolo Teatro della Città di Milano in Milan, Italy. The Piccolo Teatro della Città di Milano a.k.a. Piccolo Teatro is the first theatre in Italy. I couldn't afford to go inside, but at least could take this photo from outside. The Last Supper by Leonardo da Vinci took priority over everything else on that day in Milan, Italy. Time and money are always limited. In the case of the Last Supper by Leonardo da vinci, time and money plus tickets are limited. I just followed first things first method. You can't have your cake and eat it, too.

Vinho do Porto

I took this photo at Mercado do Bolhão (a.k.a. The Bolhao Market) in Porto, Portugal. When I was in Porto, Portugal, my acquaintance texted me to not miss Port wine and enjoy sipping thick espresso. Those two were just her favorite, but shortly after she texted me about Port wine and thick espresso, those two became my favorite too. Actually I miss Port wine right now too. My hotel was located close to Mercado do Bolhão and had a cozy nice bar on the ground floor. I really enjoyed to have glasses of Tawny Port wine at the bar.

As a proof of my stay at the lovely hotel

I took this photo on the bed in my hotel room in Tel Aviv, Israel. I believe it was the corner of a pillow cover. I wanted to remember this hotel's name forever, then I took this photo, I think. The hotel was not a big one, but was a very nice hotel with quite a convenient location to the beach and the nice places to eat and drinks. The roof top terrace was just fantastic, and their daily Israeli breakfast was truly fascinating. They offered free Wi-Fi service and also their guest could be used hotel's PCs on the lobby floor. I only have good memories in this hotel, De La Mer.

Don't go to bed early in the city of Amstermam

I took this photo in Amsterdam, Holland at night while I was taking a stroll around the city. Nightlife in Amsterdam is not only the world-famous red light district. The city has much more than that, and not to mention it was safe absolutely. When I spent over a week in Amsterdam, Holland was in November, so the weather wasn't very much fit to my favorite, I must add that, but I enjoyed its pre-winter crisp air and my feeling as much as I could. Not bad at all. Oh I remember that I was obsessed with Duch cheese. It really went well with cold ones, Heineken, of course.

The corned beef hash was a work of genius

I took this photo at a hotel's buffet restaurant in Las Vegas, NV, the United States of America. The buffet restaurant offered a wide variety of food, fruits, desserts, and drinks. Also, there were some different choices of soup, many kinds of dressing for salads, and some different choices of cooked rice were available on the buffet line. I enjoyed a lot at the buffet. That day I chose several different food like the photo shows. They were all delicious, but if I have to choose the best, I'd say that corned beef hash was the best of the day. It was so yummy.

Unawatuna fingerpost

I took this photo in Unawatuna, Sri Lanka when I hit sort of like a T-junktion of the village. There was a finger post looked like the photo shows. If you turn left you'll reach a long white sanded Unawatuna Beach, or if you turn right, you might be able to find a couple of beaches where the hidden beaches locally called "Jungle Beach". One of the Jungle beaches was super well-hidden and it was like hard to get there kind of thing, but the other one was not very difficult to find and I'd say it's already turned into a well-known beach.

Country being beloved by people around the world

I took this photo in Nakhon Ratchasima (a.k.a. Korat), Thailand. I've been to Thailand 31 times and it was my third visit to Nakhon Ratchasima. Nakhon Ratchasima is like a gateway to North Eastern Thailand where the area that is known as Isan. Nakhon Ratchasima is definitely one of my favorite cities in Thailand. It's a little far away from the capital Bangkok, but I will go back again to Nakhon Ratchasima.

I read the news.

Please allow me to express my deepest condolences over the passing of His Majesty King Bhumibol and kindly allow me to send my condolences to the people of Thailand.

Shift to new ideas or stay

I took this photo at my hotel's lobby in Hollywood, L.A., California, the United States of America on the day of Halloween in 2010. The lobby and furnitures were decorated with a lot of pumpkins and the others and I loved the decorations. By the way one of my English acquaintance told me that pineapple jack-o'-lanterns are getting popular somewhere in the world this year. I thought there was no grain of truth, but according to the Internet, it seems true. Pineapple jack-o'-lanterns look more like faces with punk hairstyles or something like that.

Convenient access to what I want to do

I took this photo on the way to my hotel in Lisbon, Portugal. The hotel was located about a few minutes from Rossio Railway Station, next to Rossio square. Which means it had very convenient access to Lisbon's attraction sites. A lot of places to eat and drink, places to see and photo opportunities, and places to have fun and much more were just around corner from the hotel. That day, I went to have some late afternoon beer at a pub on Rossio Square, and enjoyed some downtime in a bubbly atmosphere. It was lovely to be there.

โจ๊กเห็ดหอมหมูสับ @ 7-11

The photo shows a cup of โจ๊กเห็ดหอมหมูสับ. โจ๊ก (Pronounce: Joke) is like a Thai rice porridge or your can say congee. It definitely is Thai's favorite breakfast menu. เห็ดหอม is a type of edible Asian mushroom, หมูสับ is minced pork in English term. โจ๊กเห็ดหอมหมูสับ can be translated as Thai porridge with Asian mushrooms and minced pork. I bought this cup of โจ๊กเห็ดหอมหมูสับ at a 7 ELEVEN nearby my hotel. It was in the early morning, and I was about to leave Pattaya to the airport. Before I left Pattaya, I wanted to eat something quickly, something kind of light and easy, but something very Thai. Then, I went to the 7-11 nearby and chose a cup of โจ๊กเห็ดหอมหมูสับ. I asked to nuke it and had it in my hotel room.

Mambo Cabaret Show

I took this photo while I was watching Mambo Cabaret Show. Mambo Cabaret Show is one of the most famous touristic night-time attractions in Bangkok, Thailand. Mambo Cabaret is the place where I've had my very first "She's a he!" experience in Bangkok in 2002. It's hard to count exact number, but I've been to Mambo Cabaret several times since 2002, and I always enjoyed to watch stunning transsexual dancers there. In recent years, I prefer to visit Pattaya directly from the airport, so if my memory is correct, my last visit to Mambo Cabaret was in 2007. Pattaya also has a couple of famous cabaret shows, so I can enjoy as well.

Thai Massage place with Free Wi-Fi

I took this photo at a Thai Massage place on Soi Texas in Chinatown in Bangkok, Thailand while I was awaiting for having Thai Foot Massage for 1 hour and then Thai Body Massage for 1 hour. That Thai Massage place was located near TEXAS Suki Restaurant and offered Free Wi-Fi service while I was having massages on a massage chair. Brand-new world. So I logged in to the Internet and googled about foot massage chart. All I did was looking at the chart to learn a little bit of Thai massage method. It was fun. You learn something new every day.

Is it a map? Oh, it's not.

I took this photo somewhere in Amsterdam, Holland. This sign board looked really Amsterdam, so I took a photo of it anyway. The seventeenth-century canal ring area of Amsterdam looks quite special on a map exactly like this sign board which I happened to find on a street in Amsterdam. Back when I visited Amsterdam for the first time, I only had several hours to explore in the capital of Netherlands, so I didn't have enough time to find out something like this. Even though my time was short, the city of Amsterdam left a lasting impression on me, so I revisit Amsterdam several years later.

Enjoy a bewitching night at a pub in London

I took this photo in front of a pub in London, England, the United Kingdom on the day before Halloween in 2013. The pub windows were decorated with pseudo spider webs to raise awareness as well as to create the atmosphere of the up-coming Halloween night. One of my English acquaintances told me that Halloween decorations should bring a bit of scary feeling. If so, that window decorations looked super cool for the bewitching Halloween night. Well done, London. I was glad to be in London exact on a Halloween night.
