Meet me at the theatre
A few weeks ago, One of my English acquaintances and I were talking about English grammar. My question was what are the differences between at and in. He said that generally at means outside of a building and in means inside of a building. So if I say 'Meet me at the theatre', it means someone and I will meet in front of the theatre, not inside. Is that correct? But he also said, station is an exception. 'Let's meet at the station' means inside of the station too. Well, I guess I won't fully understand the differences between at and in. Anyways, I took this photo at Slovenian National Opera and Ballet Theatre in Ljubljana, Slovenia. I didn't go inside of this beautiful building.
