As abundant as paper lanterns
Chinatown in Bangkok, Thailand is one of the famous gastronomical paradise. There are lots and lots of yummy places to eat. Chinatown in Bangkok is called Yaowaraj (Thai: เยาวราช) in Thai. I took this picture around ten days before Chinese New Year (a.k.a. Lunar New Year). There were a lot of paper lanterns above the streets around Yaowaraj and it was another intriguing view of Bangkok. Thailand is considered the world largest home of overseas Chinese. Most Thai Chinese nowadays speak only Thai, but only a few elderly Thai Chinese are able to communicate in Chinese as well.
