An astronomical clock in the Goethe House

I flew in Frankfurt, Germany around 13:00 on the 6th. After checked in to my hotel and dropped off my luggage in my room, I visited the Goethe House (German: Goethe Haus) again to see a fantastic astronomical clock on the second floor. The moving rings on the top clearly indicate the current day, so it said 6th January 2014 when I visited. It's amazing, isn't it? Can you imagine how old this astronomical clock is? It is said that Johann Wolfgang von Goethe had gotten a strong imprettion on this clock when he was young. He was born on the 28th August 1749. I was in awe of the accuracy of the astronomical clock. Outstanding.
