It was about 7 hours ago, vibrant fireworks marked new year here in Las Vegas, NV, USA. To be honest, I wanted to use a photo of stunning fireworks for my first post in 2014, but it's hard without Photoshop, so I chose this low-key photo to welcome a brand new year 2014. The shiny golden balloon says HAPPY NEW YEAR! So far, one of the biggest differences for me is a room rate. My room for December 31st to January 1st cost 10 times as much as a normal weekday fee.
