My very first Bosnian food

I took this photo at the popular Bosnian restaurant in the Green Gold Club in Zagreb, Croatia. It was the first time in my life to have Bosnian food and I was so pumped at the moment. First of all, I ordered a glass of Sarajevsko Pivo Točeno (Sarajevsko Beer on tap). Then I ordered Kupus Salata (Cabbage Salad), some bread and a main dish. The main dish was named Eminina Pletenica and was translated as Chicken with Roasted Pepper and Rice. I think I made good choices for my very first Bosnian dinner. I asked for a second serving of Sarajevsko beer as well. The beer went very well with all.

The Hungarian National Museum

The photo shows the Hungarian National Museum. Before I visited Budapest, Hungary, one of my Hungarian acquaintances told me about his beautiful country in detail. I learned a lot from him such as the beautiful chain bridge over the Danube River, a popular street named Váci and then some. Not only that, but he gave me a crash course Hungarian history. When I visited the Hungarian National Museum, my memories from his crash course helped me a lot every second. So when I got out of the museum, I took this photo for my another memory.

I should have bought more...

I took this photo in Amsterdam, Holland. I bought a pair of room slippers in Amsterdam. Amsterdam is known for the home of wooden shoes: a.k.a. Clogs. When I visited Amsterdam in November 2013, a lot of souvenir shops in Amsterdam were selling room slippers. The room slippers made of cloth and shaped exactly like the traditional clogs and decorated in Dutch scenery or something like that. I really love the room slippers and I'm wearing them right now. I should have bought some more pairs of room slippers. Hindsight is always 20/20.

Almost kissing

I took this photo in Zagreb, Croatia. A couple of illustrated white birds looked almost kissing. I don't know birds do kiss like humans do or not, but anyway it was so much fun to walk around Zagreb, the capital of Croatia. While I was enjoying walking around Zagreb everyday, a waiter of my hostel's restaurant told me about one of the must see sight of his country and kindly jotted down the name of the place; Plitvice Lakes National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. If I were in Croatia in summer, I would definitely go there.

A view of a high street with no one

I took this photo in Malmö, Sweden. I was walking around one of the high streets of the city. It was Sunday morning and the street wasn't busy, so I could take a photo from this angle. I don't usually take photos of people, but a middle-aged guy who I've met a long time ago had a very unique hobby to take photos of people. He said the always ask new people to take a photo of their hands. In his own opinion, every pair of hands is having different character, and they are just like people's face. It was interesting to hear. I don't know why he didn't ask me to take a photo of my hands, though.

A push-button for traffic signal in Luxembourg

I took this photo in Luxembourg city, Luxembourg. There was a push-button signal in the street. The button said BITTE DRÜCKEN in German. Well, I just guessed it was written in German I must add that I couldn't read it. Speaking of German, one of my English acquaintances had told me that he studied German at school and he was a good learner. When he visited Germany for the first time, he was so excited to use his German with the locals. However, his dream was shattered when he bought his first hot dog. He spoke German to get a hot dog, but the vendor replied in English. He said the same thing happened again and again. He also said that all the Germans who he had met in Germany spoke very good English. He said he stopped keeping up his study after that. I want to learn a lot of languages as much as I can, though.

Advent u Zagrebu

I took this photo in Zagreb, Croatia. I flew into Zagreb on the 3rd of December 2013, and stayed for 14 days. It was around the beginning of the festive season of Zagreb. With that I visited the Christmas Markets almost everyday during my stay and I fully enjoyed seeing the lovely markets. I took this photo in Park Zringevac on the way to my hostel from the Christmas Market. This large beautiful ball was displayed in the park and the base of the ball said Advent u Zagrebu on the surface. I could see the Zagreb Cathedral and the St. Mark's Church in the transparent ball.

Hot Dog s Klobaso and Kuhano Vino

I had this fabulous meal at a Christmas Market in Ljubljana, Slovenia. I had a couple of glasses of Kuhano Vino and Hot Dog s Klobaso. Kuhano Vino is kind of like Mulled Wine. It is also known as Hot Wine or Cooked Wine, and is like special flavored wine of the festive season. Hot Dog s Klobaso means Hot Dog with sausage in English term. The sausage was sooo delicious, and the sauce and chopped onions brought out the flavor of thick, savory Slovenian sausage. It was nearly a year ago. I wanna have the same meal again.

A cut above the rest

I took this photo in Lisbon, Portugal. When I was walking around the city, I saw a luxurious, humongous cruise ship in harbor which said Celebrity Equinox on her side. It looked really like a hotel, but it was a ship, a super size one. A cut above the rest. It was definitely the biggest ship I've ever seen in my life. I was so pumped at the moment and took several photos of the humongous cruise ship. The photo shows one of the results. I wanted to look down the ship from above, and managed to find a location to do that.

Things you can do on Khao San Road, Bangkok

I took this photo near Khao San Road in Bangkok, Thailand. Khao San Road is a little street which is filled with many many bars, restaurants, shops, and of course a lot of people from all walks of life.  Not to mention, the street itself is one of the most famous tourist attractions in Bangkok. You can enjoy a cold one with a wide variety of food from world-famous fried chicken to scorpions. When I was drinking a bottle of Chang Beer at a bar in the street, a couple of Caucasian guy were eating scorpion-ish skewered street food. While they were eating, they were taking videos of each other's face by smartphones.

Do I really need a map?

I took this photo in Luxembourg city, Luxembourg. Actually I found this map on the way to Luxembourg station to catch my return train to Koblenz, Germany. I walked around Luxembourg city without any maps, but a city map was there. A huge one. Speaking of map, when I went to Cairo, Egypt, I couldn't get any maps during my stay. I stayed in Cairo for five nights six days and I tried to get a map, but some locals I've met in Cairo told me that there weren't any city maps. They said if I asked them to get a map, they would need to go to a museum or somewhere else to find a map. Really? Well, I just gave up.

Trace one's memory

I took this photo at King's Cross Railway Station in London, England, the United Kingdom. There's a secret platform 9 3/4 that's the one which lies in the pretty famous fantasy novels of wizards and witches. When I visited the secret platform 9 3/4, a lot of Caucasian kids and the parents were waiting in a line to get on a secret train =) By the way, back when I traveled around London in 2007 for the first time, my hostel was in front of King's Cross Railway Station. After taking some photos at the station, I went to see the hostel and tried to trace my memory. I was not sure, but I felt that the area had been changed quite a bit.

I was in the street overlooking Thailand

I took this photo in Vientiane, Laos when I was walking around the street overlooking Nong Khai, Thailand. It was my second visit to Vientiane, Laos. That time, I took a red-eye from Hua Lamphong Station in Bangkok, Thailand. After got out of the train at Nong Khai Station, I got on a tuk-tuk with some Caucasians. Then, I crossed the Thai-Lao Friendship Bridge over the Mekong by bus. First of all, I got through the immigration, and exchanged some Thai Baht for Lao Kip, then finally caught a tuk-tuk to get to the heart of Vientiane. Thailand was visible from Laos like the photo shows.

Let's get the festive season started

I took this photo in Amsterdam, Holland on the 21st of November 2013. I went to see Amsterdam's yearly event "Turn on the Lights" at Dam Square. The free event was held by a luxurious department store DE BIJENKORF, and was completed by turned on the lights. I took this photo right after the end of the event, as well as at the opening of festive season in Amsterdam. It was my last night in Amsterdam, Holland, so after the event I walked onto Damrak street and enjoyed to see cheerful Christmas markets, to smell cotton candy and all. Not to mention I had Heineken before going to bed.

Having fun like Milanese

The photo shows my breakfast at my hotel in Milan, Italy. The hotel was not like gorgeous full-star hotel or something, but had everything I needed. I really loved their radiant cheerful receptionists, warm and cozy room, free Wi-Fi, and bountiful buffet breakfast. Meals and soft drinks were prepared at the buffet line. Also, when their guests came down to the breakfast room, a woman at the bar asked if anyone would like coffee. She made coffee after she was asked, so the coffee was fresh and of course tasty. Mille Grazie.

A scale model of the Eiffel Tower

The photo shows the Eiffel Tower in Las Vegas, NV, the States. It is not a full-scale model, but still. By the way, I've heard that they  wanted to make a full-scale model of the Eiffel Tower in Sin City, but McCarran international airport is situated right next to the Southern tip of the Vegas strip. Because of that, they had to rethink of the heights of the scale model of the Eiffel Tower in Vegas, and the photo shows the result. Whether the story is true or not, it sounds to me like America and I loved to hear about that.

Born with a sense of beauty

I took this photo in Ljubljana, Slovenia. I was in a street and found a street lamp on a wall of a building. Also, a little planter was hanging from the lamp. I thought this was not only a little street lamp, it was a piece of decoration art in a way. All of those kinds of decorations made the city itself look lovelier and nicer place, I think. Some people were born with a sense of beauty, and the others were not. But I think a sense of beauty is learnable, and improvable. It wasn't a log stay in Ljubljana, Slovenia, but I learned a lot and I still love to see my photos of Slovenia.

That's Tel Aviv for you

I took this photo in Tel Aviv, Israel. I booked a hotel room through the Internet and right after got into my room, took this photo. The bathroom was pretty good. The point was that there was an array of Dead Sea Cosmetics. Surprising. After taking a photo, I got out of the hotel to get some cans of Gold Star beer, a bottle of drinking water, and some postcards. The hotel had a sea view roof top terrace, and there were tables and chairs for their guests. It had a really relaxing place atmosphere and I loved to be there.

Everyone says the same thing

I took this photo in Frankfurt, Germany. It was shortly before sunset. A while ago, someone asked me that 'Isn't it a little too early to visit Christmas Markets before night?'. Just my two cents, but it is never too early to visit Christmas Markets. You can enjoy hectic, lovely, fun markets all day long and everyday during your stay. Not to mention I did. Shortly after I took this photo, I went to visit Eiserner Steg (a.k.a. Padlock Bridge) to take photos of sunset view of beautiful Frankfurt. The bridge is across from Romer Square. The view from the bridge was amazing. On the bridge, I met a lot of people from all over the world and everyone said the same thing. Everyone said 'This is beautiful', as you can imagine.

Take time and watch one's step

I took this photo in Luxembourg city, Luxembourg before I went down stairs to the lower town. It was raining, so I needed to watch my step. When I slowly climbed down the stairs, a Caucasian guy ran up the stairs. He came from left field, so I was was so surprised, but he was just jogging around the stairs. Other than him, the area was almost empty, so I could take time and enjoy taking a lot of photos. Luxembourg city has a very unique geography, and beautiful greenish scenery. I wanted to treasure every second, and I did it.

Fly toward the Royal Palace

I took this photo in Amsterdam, Holland on the 21st of November 2013. Amsterdam's yearly free event "Turn on the Lights" was going on at Dam Square. The event was held by a luxurious department store DE BIJENKORF. DE BIJENKORF is across from Dam Square. The shows on the event was just magical. There were gorgeous fireworks, a talk show, lights and massive flying objects. I took this photo while those massive flying objects were flying toward the Royal Palace of Amsterdam. It was so much fun to be there.

Enjoy a glass of Tawny Porto at a bar in Porto

The photo shows a glass of Tawny Porto (Portuguese: Vinho do Porto Tawny). I had the glass of Tawny Porto at my hotel's bar before went to bed. Wi-Fi was provided free at the hotel, but I couldn't catch the signal in my room. Then I went into the bar and connected to the Internet. First of all, I ordered a bottle of Super Bock, then after that I ordered this glass of Tawny Porto. It was my first experience to drink Porto Wine. I really really loved it. I became the biggest fan of it. On the following day, I bought four miniature bottles of Porto Wine at a cave in Gaia.

Pattaya Night Bazaar

I took this photo in Pattaya, Thailand. Pattaya is a beach resort and also an entertainment city where about a couple of hour-drive from Suvarnabhumi Airport. Ticket counter of Busses to Pattaya can be found on Level 1 next to Gate 8 where busses depart right behind there. Bus fare is 134 THB per seat. By the way, I will go back to Pattaya on the 17th of next month and will stay in Pattaya for 30 days that the time overlaps my Christmas and New Year break. I already bought a round-trip airline ticket, reserved a hotel room just around the corner from Pattaya Night Bazaar where the photo shows.

Zagreb Eye Viewpoint from below

I took this photo of Zagreb Eye Viewpoint from below in Zagreb, Croatia. The building looked like just a building, but the view from Zagreb Eye Viewpoint was spectacular. I love heights, by the way. Oh come to think of that, I've seen a Caucasian woman who was really really afraid of heights.  I saw her at the Santa Justa Lift in Lisbon, Portugal. She couldn't go to the top, and her friend went to the top by herself. If I were the friend, I would do the same thing. I would go to the top by myself, and after that would show her photos or something if she wanted.

What a fond memory

I took this photo in Lucerne, Switzerland while I was walking around the lovely city. It was in April, 2007. Looking back on my old photos is so much fun. Sometimes I find a photo like this, and I don't exactly remember why I took this photo at that moment, but the photo has a nostalgic feel in a way. Probably, I was interested in the flag, the large clock with OMEGA logo, and the little sweet statue on the corner of the building. Anyway, I like this kind of street view of Lucerne, that was why I took this photo over seven years ago. What a fond memory.

Turn on the Lights in Amsterdam, Holland

I took this photo in Amsterdam, Holland on the 21st of November 2013. During the day, I saw a poster which was written in a language that I couldn't read. All I could read was just Dam and 19:00 and 21. Well, I guessed that something was going to happen in Dam Square at 19:00. At night, I got out of my hotel at 18:40 to visit Dam Square just in case. When I arrived there, the square was already packed like sardines. It raised my expectations for "something" in Dam Square at 19:00. After a while, I learned that the "something" was yearly special free event "Turn on the Lights". The event was held by a luxurious department store DE BIJENKORF. It was a magical show with gorgeous fireworks, a talk show, lights and everything. Also, Christmas Markets was unveiled on Damrak street. It was so much fun to be there. On the following day, I flew to Porto, Portugal. I was lucky I could see the Turn on the Lights event before I left Amsterdam.

Harrods with Christmas decorations

I took this photo in London, England, the United Kingdom. It was at the beginning of November 2013. A luxurious department store Harrods showed their fancy Christmas decorations for a festive season. It was fun to see them. I was going to leave London after a few days and that day happened to be the last sunny day. On the following day I went to see Westminster Abbey, but I wasn't exactly happy about the weather. While I was focusing to take photos of Westminster Abbey, I was soaked to the bone. I can laugh about it now, though.

Galerija Emporium in Ljublijana, Slovenia

The photo shows Galerija Emporium in Ljubljana, Slovenia. It's a fancy shopping place of the city. I loved the design of the entrance so much. It was like the entrance made the building itself as a huge gift box or something. I think the beautiful building of Galerija Emporium fitted in the beautiful city Ljubljana quite well. By the way from my point of view, Ljubljana, Slovenia was not only a beautiful city, but also a clean city. A lot of buildings and many streets were clean and beautiful, plus air was clean I must add that.

Spicy Tomato Salad

I took this photo at one of my favorite restaurants on the beach road of Tel Aviv, Israel. It was around noon and it was my first visit to the restaurant. When I went into the restaurant, a chef came to my table and asked what I was in the mood for and helped me to choose my lunch. I ordered a pint of German beer, a salad with a main dish. I chose Spicy Tomato Salad from the menu. The chef said 'The spicy tomato salad is a little spicy, but not so much. If you like spicy food, it's not spicy enough. I can make it more spicy. Do you want it?' What my answer was? I said 'Yep, that sounds good.' The photo shows the result. It was a very nice tomato salad with a lot of garlic and spices. The chef has a talent, I think.

Wat Si Saket in Vientiane, Laos

The photo shows Bhuddha images of Wat Si Saket in Vientiane, Laos. Wat means temple in English term so Wat Si Saket is a temple which is located on Lan Xang Road in the Laotian capital Vientiane. Wat Si Saket is considered as the oldest temple in Laos, and is known for its huge number of Buddha images. There are thousands of large and small Buddha images in the temple. Not only that, but there are thousands of holes in the wall of the temple and miniature Buddha images are placed in pairs in each hole in the wall.

Build a love that lasts

The photo shows one of the love locks that I've seen in Amsterdam, Holland. There are canals and bridges in Amsterdam, Holland. Not only that, but Amsterdam's seventeenth-century canal ring is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Which means the area attracts a lot of people from all walks of life. Not to mention young and old, rich and poor or something like that, but with that, I've seen a lot of love locks in Amsterdam as you can imagine. So many couples lock their own padlock and throw away the key into the river to wish their love last forever. The photo shows one of the result of union.

At the end of the Western coast of Sri Lanka

I took this photo on Hikkaduwa beach in Sri Lanka. The sun was going to set over the Indian Ocean. Hikkaduwa is famous for its coral reef and this is the beach where you can see sea turtles near the shore. I've never taken those glass bottom boats, but I saw sea turtles 8 times a week in Hikkaduwa and they were all this close to me. Hikkaduwa is at the end of the Western coast of Sri Lanka which means Hikkaduwa beach is the westernmost popular beach that you can see  sunsets over the Indian Ocean just like the photo shows.

Fly to Porto by TAP

I took this photo in Porto, Portugal. Recently, my acquaintance and I were talking about my last trip for about half an hour or so. Shortly after we started to talk, we began by talking about Portugal and now she is dying to go to Portugal, especially Porto. We talked about Portuguese people who I've met in Porto, authentic food of Porto, my favorite TAP portugal which is the flag carrier airline of Portugal. By the way, I've taken TAP Portugal's flights four times and TAP is my all-time favorite European airline company. In Asia, I love THAI Airways International, though.

Me-in-Wonderland

I took this photo in Frankfurt, Germany while the Christmas Market 2013 was holding in Römer Square. I've visited Frankfurt more than once, but staying in Frankfurt right during the world-famous Christmas Market was for the first time. So I was so so excited to see a lot of interesting things there. So-called typical German houses were lit op like a light on a Christmas tree exactly like the photo shows. I felt like I was in a wonderland. I said "Wow" countless times, and took hundreds of photos like this. Beautiful view, isn't it?

Good people, good food, beautiful buildings

I took this photo in Ljubljana, Slovenia. I really love this kind of "very European" street view and Ljubljana had a lot of scenic locations that I could enjoy viewing beautiful architectures in the streets. Not only that but, people were very kind, plus foods were so yummy. It's a definitely very good city to visit and take time to enjoy their culture and everything. I'm still kicking myself for not having enough time to exploring around Ljubljana and its surrounding towns. Visiting Slovenia again is now in the the top ten of my bucket list.

A Dutch made special beer Hooghe Bock

I took this photo in Amsterdam, Holland. I went into a restaurant pub to have lunch and looked at the menu, but first, beer. Names of beer were written on the menu, but there wasn't a name at the end of the beer list, and just said SPECIAL and cost 3.5 EUR. Well in that case, I should order the special one, shouldn't I? The photo shows the result of SPECIAL. I got a glass of Hooghe Bock. It was actually a spectacular beer. The color of beer was dark, so when I saw it I thought it was a stout beer, but when I took a first sip, I realized that it was not just a stout beer. It was a rich, strong, and definitely special  beer.

The headquarters of Croatian Railways

The photo shows the headquarters of Croatian Railways (Croatian: HŽ stands for Hrvatske željeznice) in Zagreb Croatia. The headquarters of HŽ is just around the corner from Zagreb main station (Croatian: Zagreb Glavni Kolodvor) and the building is this beautiful and stands out in the street. At first, I mistook this building for a gorgeous five-star hotel or something, but it wasn't. Such an impressive architecture. I took lots and lots of photos of street scenes in Zagreb, Croatia and the area that includes the headquarters of HŽ was one of my favorite photo spots.

Take in the sights in Lucerne, Switzerland

The photo shows the water tower of the Chapel Bridge (German: Kapellbrücke) and view of Lucerne, Switzerland. The Chapel Bridge is a wooden bridge across the Reuss River. It's a very popular bridge famous for its roof cover and a huge number of amazing restored interior paintings. It was a privilege viewing the paintings when I was crossing the wooden bridge in scenic Lucerne. I took in a lot of sights on the way as well as in the city itself. For lunch, I chose a cheese found. I thought since I came all the way to Switzerland I wanted to have a must-eat item, an authentic one.

What are the differences between plane and train?

I took this photo in Luxembourg city, Luxembourg. I saw a plane kinda low in the sky when I was walking somewhere a ten-minute walk from Luxembourg railway station. I arrived in Luxembourg by trains from Frankfurt, Germany, but I could travel to Luxembourg by air if i wanted. Speaking of traveling by air or by train, I've traveled between Thailand and Laos by air and by train. With that, I personally leaned a huge difference between plane and train. One of the biggest differences are time and money, of course, but I found out that some other passengers talked to me on a long-distance train. It's not often gonna happen on a plane I think. It always a passenger who sat next to me was the only passenger who I've talked on a plane or like that.

It's next to impossible

I took this photo in Jaffa, Israel. There was a lamp above a gate and something was written in Hebrew on the lamp. Several years ago, I was really curious to learn new languages and bought a small book to study Hebrew. Through the book, I was supposed to learn from 1, 2, 3, 4, 5...., a, b, c, d, e ....., and then plus a lot of useful phrases. But I gave up learning Hebrew easily. Learning a right-to-left language was way harder than I thought. One day, I happened to show the book to an Israeli guy. He said he would be really surprised if I lean and speak Hebrew thorough the book. He meant it was next to impossible.

Match made in heaven: Buffalo wings and Bud Light

The photo shows Buffalo wings and a bottle of Bud Light. A Buffalo wing is like deep-fried chicken wings flavored with spicy pepper sauce and it definitely is my all-time favorite American cuisine. I had this pub grub at a 50's American diner in Las Vegas, NV, the USA. That afternoon, I was in the mood for something spicy and I was teetering between a Mexican place for soft shell tacos or an American diner for Buffalo wings. I ended up chose the 50's diner and I was totally right. The Buffalo wings and the Bud light were a match made in heaven. I miss the combination even now.

I wanna get my money's worth

I took this photo in London, England, the United Kingdom. The photo shows a mirror in a ladies' room at the bottom of the London Eye. It wasn't only a loo, cubicles were decorated in the Union Jack based interiors. I love the Union Jack for some reason, so I was so excited. Admission fee: 0.5 GDP was required to enter the loo. I wanna get my money's worth, and I took some photos in the cubicle. Of course, I took a lot more photos of the London Eye, but the 0.5 pound loo experience became one of my most unique memories from   the UK. Cheers.

The Galle Face Hotel in Colombo, Sri Lanka

I took this photo at the Galle Face Hotel in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The pool was situated in front of the Indian Ocean. A lot of tanning beds that were lined at the edge of the pool were facing to the ocean. This is surely one of the dreamy hotels in Sri Lanka, but I must admit that this is not the only one hotel which has this kind of great location plus facilities to view the Indian Ocean. For example, you can find cheeper ocean view rooms in Negombo, Hikkaduwa and the other cities. When you stay in a city in the Western coast of Sri Lanka, you can view the beautiful sunset over the Indian Ocean.

Anek Kuson Sala

I took this photo at Anek Kuson Sala (Viharnra Sien, Thai: อเนกกุศลศาลา (วิหารเซียน)) in the outskirts of Pattaya, Thailand. This place is known as Chinese museum or Chinese temple or something similar by motor bike taxi drivers in Pattaya, Thailand and has an amazing collection of Chinese art and statures. If you are into those kind of Chinese art, I'm sure you'll definitely love Anek Kuson Sala. They require an entrance fee 50THB per person. The ticket office is next to a parking, across from the entrance gate.

Get itchy feet

I took this photo in Frankfurt, Germany. Last year, I visited Frankfurt to see the world-famous huge Christmas Market. The photo shows one of the shops in the city's main square Römerberg. The market was crowded all day long, and it was so much fun to be there. I had mugs of mulled wine, hot apple wine, yummy yummy German sausages, tasteful German pork stew and so on, and bought several postcards and so on. Visiting Christmas Markets in Germany was at the top of my bucket list for a long time, and it was finally done. But, I got itchy feet and want to visit Frankfurt's Christmas market again.

Goulash Soup melted my chilled bone

I took this photo at a very nice Deep-pan pizza place in Copenhagen, Denmark. That day, I went to visit Malmö, Sweden as a half-day excursion from Copenhagen, Denmark. Malmö, Sweden is about half an hour train ride from Copenhagen, denmark with none of passport control. When I got out of the return train at Copenhagen Central Station, it was time for late lunch, and I was chilled to the bone. In layman's term, I was starving and and I was freezing. I wanted to find a place for lunch right in front of or next to the station. I was in the mood for something hot and a big portion. Yep, there it was; a Chicago-style Deep-pan Pizza place. First things first, I ordered Goulash Soup (Danish: Gullash Suppe) to warm me up, then after that, I had a huge thick deep-pan pizza. It was very, very nice lunch.

Where are you trying to get to?

I took this photo in Amsterdam, Holland. There was a market like place in the city somewhere close to a chinatown and I took a photo there. Oddly, I couldn't find the Chinatown again during my stay in Amsterdam. I'm sure, there was kinda large Chinatown in the city, though. As I wrote before and I don't know is it just me or everybody else, but lay of the land of Amsterdam, Holland was a little too complicated and every street corner of Amsterdam looked alike. Well, I have a few places that I wanted to visit there again, but I couldn't find the place again. Chinatown was one of them.

Sounds like Northern Europe

I took this photo in Malmö, Sweden. It's a very lovely and the third largest city in Sweden. Recently, my acquaintance and me talked about Scandinavian countries and some fabulous hotels that we've hared about them, but haven't stayed yet. She talked about a hotel in Finland. She didn't remember the actual name of the hotel, but said 'igloo hotel' or something and we googled it. The hotel rooms looked like igloos. She said her friend paid so much money to stay in a igloo-styled glass room to see the Northern lights from his bed, but he couldn't see it. What a shame. I talked about Ice Hotel in Sweden. I've heard about the hotel from my Canadian acquaintance. According to him, every facilities of the hotel is made with ice and hotel guests sleep on an ice bed.

One end of the Ancient Khmer Highway from Angkor

I took this photo at the Phimai Historical Park (Thai: ปราสาทหินพิมาย) in Phimai, Thailand. The Phimai Historical Park is the place where you can see a humongous scale of ancient Khmer architects, the statue of Buddha and so on. Also, the place of the ancient temple of ruins is known as one end of the Ancient Khmer Highway from Angkor, Cambodia. To get there, I took a bus from Nakhon Ratchasima Bus Terminal 2 (Thai: สถานีขนส่งผู้โดยสารจังหวัด นครราชสีมา แห่งที่ 2), and rode on a bus for about an hour or so. It's a very interesting place to visit and see a massive ancient temple of ruins. Actually, I've been there three times and I wanna visit there again.
