Arroz de Polvo @ Beira Gare, Lisbon, Portugal
I took this photo at my all-time favorite restaurant Beira Gare in Lisbon, Portugal. Beira Gare is located directly across from the Rossio Railway Station and is always packed with locals, tourists, foodies and all. I really love the atmosphere of the restaurant. The photo shows one of the very popular Portuguese signature meals Arroz de Polvo. Arroz de Polvo is like a Portuguese version of risotto with octopus. Arroz means rice, polvo means octopus in English term, and some people call this food as Octopus Rice. Not to mention it tastes like heaven. Arroz de Polvo was served in a silver pot at Beira Gare, so I put it on a plate and took this photo before I ate it. I miss the taste even now.
