Definitely, a genius at closet as well

This is one of my photos from Art in Paradise Pattaya in North Pattaya, Thailand. The image shows one of the most famous geniuses of our long long human history. And... he is my mentor for some reason, so I took this photo at Art in Paradise Pattaya (taking photos was allowed inside of Art in Paradise Pattaya, by the way). So now, how come Albert Einstein is my mentor, right? One of my Israeli acquaintances had ever told me some great anecdotes of Einstein. One of the anecdotes that I've head from my acquaintance was that Einstein was always lining up the same type of shirt, suits, and everything even its colours, due to he didn't want to waste his time to choose his clothes. I stole his idea ever since. Some of mines has different colours, but may not be very different. I can say they are no different, and I think I could stop wasting time just for choosing clothes when it comes to for work. I believe that he was definitely a genius. At closet as well.

Surrounded by funny, bubbly, lovely Thais

I took this photo in my hotel room in Pattaya, Thailand. That time, my vacation started around the middle of December 2014, and ended around the middle of January 2015. The location of the hotel was just dreamy. The hotel was right above a nice club on hectic Pattaya Soi 8, so the location was right in the middle of Central Pattaya. With that, I could be in the middle of everything. It was very convenient and I loved the atmosphere. So I still believe that I was totally right to decide tostay in the same hotel on for a month. During my stay, I was surrounded by funny, bubbly, lovely staff members of the hotel as well as the club on the ground floor.

Cold plate appetisers with a century egg

I took this photo at a riverside pub in Bangkok, Thailand. I ordered some Thai pub grubs as well as Thai cold ones. The large plate of appetisers were saved with a century egg (a.k.a. Pidan, Thai: ไข่เยี่ยวม้า). The century egg was cut into quarters and was beautifully putting near the middle of the plate. You may find some Thai food with century eggs. Let's say century eggs salad (Thai: ยำไข่เยี่ยวม้า) is the prime example, and green papaya salad with a century egg (Thai: ส้มตำไข่เยี่ยวม้า) is one of the varieties.

Art of babble of voices

I took this photo at Art in Paradise Pattaya in North Pattaya, Thailand. Art in Paradise Pattaya is a 3D art museum of must-sees in Thailand, Thai culture, Thai traditions. Not only that but, there were a lot of unique images of a lot of something famous on earth. I enjoyed visiting Art in paradise Pattaya, it was like exploring in the world of an art genius' imagination. I took this photo in front of a miniature image of a crowded restaurant. It was really well made and I felt like I could hear the babble of voices or something from the art. It wasn't only art, but it was art of babble of voices. Awesome.

A dragon with a pearl

I took this photo at Anek Kuson Sala (Viharnra Sien, Thai: อเนกกุศลศาลา (วิหารเซียน)) in the outskirts of Pattaya, Thailand. There was a large and beautiful image of a dragon with a pearl. The place is known (and called) as Chinese museum amongst taxi drivers in Pattaya as well as some tourists, and isn't very far from the spiritual Buddha Mountain (a.k.a. Khao Chi Chan, Thai: เขาชีจรรย์), and scenic Silver Lake Vineyard (Thai: ซิลเวอร์เลค วินยาร์ด). I could view the Buddha Mountain (Khao Chi Chan) from the Chinese museum (Anek Kuson Sala) and also from Silver Lake by the naked eye.

Khao Krapow Moo Kai Dao : ข้าวกระเพราหมูไข่ดาว

The photo shows a pack of Thai lunch which I bought on a train in Thailand. I was planning to have a train journey from Nakhon Ratchasima to the capital Bangkok, and my express train was scheduled to depart from Nakhon Ratchasima at 10:18. After I got on a train, I bought a pack of Khao Krapow Moo Kai Dao (Thai: ข้าวกระเพราหมูไข่ดาว) for lunch and had it on the train. Khao Krapow Moo Kai Dao could be translated into English as Still-fried minced pork with Thai basil served with Thai rice and a fried egg. It's a very popular food in Thailand and I love it.

Excellent cafe on Chomphon Road

I took this photo at my usual cafe in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand. When I was staying in Nakhon Ratchasima for 3 weeks, my usual breakfast place was the cafe on Chomphon Road (Thai: ถนนจอมพล). The photo shows the entrance of the cafe and Chomphon Road. I took this photo from my table. The place was not only for a cup of coffee or tea, and their guests could eat a variety of Thai foods as well. It was a very nice and relaxing place and I loved to eat yummy Thai food, and also loved to sip a cup of cappucinio there.

Within calling distance

I took this photo in my hotel's corridor in Bangkok, Thailand. A image of tham bun (Thai: ทำบุญ). The hotel was located on Soi Rambuttri (Thai: ซอยรามบุตรี) which meant the hectic world-famous Khao San Road (Thai: ถนนข้าวสาร) was just around the corner from the hotel. One of the main reasons why I chose that hotel was visiting Khao San Road and the bars and restaurants around the area. When I visited the area in 2014, Soi Rambuttri had a certain similarity to the famous Khao San Road, and I could enjoy the whole area and it was so much fun to be there.

Po Pia Sod : ปอเปี๊ยะสด

The photo shows Po Pia Sod (Thai: ปอเปี๊ยะสด). It's like a Thai fresh spring rolls. You might find a wide variety of spring rolls especially in East Asia or Southeast Asia. Cooking styles and ingredients vary by chef. I bought a pack of spring rolls at Wat Boon Night Bazaar (Thai: ตลาดไนท์บาซ่าร์ วัดบูรพ์) in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand and ate them in my room of a serviced apartment. The other style of Thai spring rolls are called Po Pia Tod (Thai: ปอเปี๊ยะทอด), and is like a Thai deep-fried spring rolls. Sod (Thai: สด) means fresh, and Tod (Thai: ทอด) means deep-fried. I prefer Po Pia Sod (Thai: ปอเปี๊ยะสด), and I loved to eat them with greenish spicy sauce.

The express train bound for Sisaket

I took this photo at Hua Lamphong Station (a.k.a. Bangkok Railway Station, Thai: หัวลำโพง) in Bangkok, Thailand. That morning, I was planning to get on a train to Nakhon Ratchasima (Thai: นครราชสีมา, a.k.a. Korat, Thai: โคราช) from Bangkok Railway Station. The orange train on the photo was the express train that I was going to get on, and I was waiting for the express train on platform No. 10. The express train was bound for Sisaket (Thai: ศรีสะเกษ) in North Eastern Thailand, and my destination Nakhon Ratchasima was on the way to Sisaket.

Soi Buakhao : ซอยบัวขาว

The photo shows the sign of northern entrance of Soi Buakhao (Thai: ซอยบัวขาว) in Pattaya, Thailand. My favourite Soi in Pattaya. In Thai, Thanon (Thai: ถนน) is like a road, Soi (Thai: ซอย) is like street or you can say lane or alley. I you walk around Soi Buakhao, you can feel a very nice fusion atmosphere of Thai and a spice of European. The northern entrance of Soi Buakhao is on Central Road (Thanon Pattaya Klang, Thai: ถนนพัทยากลาง). If you come from the beach, you'll find this sign on the right hand side. If you turn right, you'll on Soi Bua Khao.

Mama Tom Look Chin Pla : มาม่าต้มลูกชิ้นปลา

The photo shows Mama Tom (Thai:  มาม่าต้ม) which I had at a noodle stall in Chinatown, Bangkok, Thailand. Mama Tom is like a bowl of MAMA instant noodles with Thai ingredient, and is one of my favourite Thai foods. In Chinatown, Bangkok, my Mama Tom was served with some fish balls like the photo shows. Fish balls are called Look Chin Pla (Thai: ลูกชิ้นปลา) in Thai. If you say Mama Tom Look Chin Pla (Thai: มาม่าต้มลูกชิ้นปลา) at a noodle stall somewhere in Thailand, a bowl of noodles like the photo shows will be served for you. It'll be yummy!! I'm obsessed with it.

Smart Phone

I took this photo in my hotel room in Nakhon Ratchasima (a.k.a. Korat), Thailand in January 2007. It was more than a decade ago, but the telephone on the side desk looked like a lot more matured material. Might I ask how old it was, but I didn't and I just took a photo of it. It's named itself as 'smart phone', the name was written on the left side corner. Cool, isn't it? Extraordinary. That time, I stayed for a couple of nights in Korat and returned to the capital Bangkok by train. Right after got out of Hua Lamphong station, I caught a cab and headed for Pattaya.

There it is, a touch of China

I took this photo at a hotel in Chinatown, Bangkok, Thailand. I booked the hotel through Booking.com., and my stay was very satisfied. The hotel was located in the heart of Chinatown, Bangkok, and had touches of China every here and there. The photo shows one of them. Cute, isn't it? Since the hotel was in the right in the middle of Chinatown, Bangkok, the location of the hotel was surrounded by so many eateries, food stalls, and everything for food lovers. Also, the hotel's restaurant and bar was located on the street level of the hotel.

ต้มยำกุ้งนำ้ข้น

The photo shows Tom Yum Kung Nam Khon (Thai: ต้มยำกุ้งนำ้ข้น) which was served in a Tom Yum heated serving pot. I took this photo at one of the very popular restaurants in Chinatown, Bangkok, Thailand. Tom Yum soup is known as Spicy Thai soup, normally with prawns, and has two completely different flavours. Compare to Tom Yum Kung Nam Sai (ต้มยำกุ้งนำ้ใส), Tom Yum Kung Nam Khon (Thai: ต้มยำกุ้งนำ้ข้น, the one in the photo of this post) is I'd say more creamy and looks redder. Not to mention both of them go well with Thai rice and the other Thai food.

Going out? No, it's out of the question.

I took this photo at the entrance of a hotel near Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok, Thailand. The area was caught in the heavy rain in the middle of afternoon. Going out was out of the question, but I wanted to do something unusual, so I started to try to take some photos of heavy rain. I wanted to catch the rainy rainy moments in some photos to memorise how heavy the rain was. I don't exactly know how to take a nicer photo of rain, but this photo was the best I could do. I think I need a bit more practice, though.

Good old sign

I took this photo on Pattaya 2nd Road in Pattaya, Thailand in March 2014. The sign was gone when the brand new shopping mall Central Marina was opened near the end of the last year. The brand new sign of Central Marina looks like a lighthouse and looks so cool of course, but I think that the old sign was also really well made. I loved that. I don't exactly know when I can go back to Pattaya again, but I'm always looking forward to going there. I really love that city. The weather, the food, drinks, people and many more. Everything is my favourite.

ต้มยำกุ้งนำ้ใส กับ ข้าว

The photo shows Tom Yum Kung Nam Sai and Thai white rice (Thai: ต้มยำกุ้งนำ้ใส กับ ข้าว) . I took this photo at a local eatery in Chinatown, Bangkok, Thailand. Thai spicy prawns soup is named Tom Yum Kung (or often spelled Tom Yam Goong, Thai: ต้มยำกุ้ง) has a couple of popular flavors. Tom Yum Kung Nam Sai (ต้มยำกุ้งนำ้ใส) and Tom Yum Kung Nam Khon (Thai: ต้มยำกุ้งนำ้ข้น). Tom Yum Kung Nam Sai is rather a traditional flavour with clear spicy soup like the photo shows. The other one, Tom Yum Kung Nam Khon looks really different. It looks like a creamy red soup. If I have to choose, I prefer Tom Yum Kung Nam Sai, but I like Tom Yum Kung Nam Khon as well.

It was sort of like the butterfly effect, wasn't it?

I took this photo in my hotel room in Nakhon Ratchasima (a.k.a. Korat), Thailand. The hotel was located in the heart of Korat, near Statue of Tao Suranari. Since the hotel was located right in the middle of the heart of the city, it seemed very easy to eat out at restaurants, but things were different at that night. Nakhon Ratchasima was caught in a heavy tropical squall out of the blue, and I was like stuck in the hotel room for hours until I was getting a little too hungry. So I looked at the room service menu on the desk, and ordered Spicy Thai soup (a.k.a. Tom Yum, Thai: ต้มยำ) and some rice, of course with a bottle of Chang. The menu was completely written in Thai, but luckily I could read them. That Tom Yum tasted like heaven. Then after that, Tom Yum became my favourite Thai food.

25th floor of a 5-star hotel in Bangkok, Thailand

I took this photo in my hotel room in Bangkok, Thailand. The hotel was a 5-star hotel located on the bank of the Chao Phraya River, and my room was on the 25th floor and had a nice river view through the windows. I made a reservation through Booking.com. That time, I made a 3-day stopover in Bangkok, Thailand, then after that caught a flight to London, England. When I fly to Europe with Thai Airways International, I tend to enjoy making stopovers in Bangkok. It depends on my ticket terms and conditions, but I made it more than once.

TG916 BKK - LHR; the 2nd meal; Oct 2013

The photo shows an inflight-meal of Thai Airways International flight TG916 Bangkok, Thailand to London, England (BKK - LHR). It was about a 12-hour nonstop flight from the chaotic Asian capital Bangkok to the heart of London, England. It was like a long-haul flight and I had plenty of time for 4 or 5 different movies. From what I remember, I watched The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, and The Hangover film series I, II, and III. A croissant sandwich was served at some point during the flight and not to mention it was yummy.

Clock tower with Thai numeral

I took this photo in South Pattaya, Thailand. The photo shows a clock tower with Thai numeral: ๑๒=12,  ๓=3, ๖=6, ๙=9. I have bought an alarm clock with Thai numeral about a decade ago at The Chatuchak Weekend Market on Kamphaeng Phet Road, Bangkok, Thailand, but after that I can't find any alarm clocks or wrist watches with Thai numeral. So when I saw this clock tower near the huge sign of PATTAYA, I thought it looked so lovely and I took a photo of it. The weather wasn't exactly perfect on that day, though.
