ต้มยำกุ้งนำ้ใส กับ ข้าว
The photo shows Tom Yum Kung Nam Sai and Thai white rice (Thai: ต้มยำกุ้งนำ้ใส กับ ข้าว) . I took this photo at a local eatery in Chinatown, Bangkok, Thailand. Thai spicy prawns soup is named Tom Yum Kung (or often spelled Tom Yam Goong, Thai: ต้มยำกุ้ง) has a couple of popular flavors. Tom Yum Kung Nam Sai (ต้มยำกุ้งนำ้ใส) and Tom Yum Kung Nam Khon (Thai: ต้มยำกุ้งนำ้ข้น). Tom Yum Kung Nam Sai is rather a traditional flavour with clear spicy soup like the photo shows. The other one, Tom Yum Kung Nam Khon looks really different. It looks like a creamy red soup. If I have to choose, I prefer Tom Yum Kung Nam Sai, but I like Tom Yum Kung Nam Khon as well.
