I took this photo at a riverside pub in Bangkok, Thailand. I ordered some Thai pub grubs as well as Thai cold ones. The large plate of appetisers were saved with a century egg (a.k.a. Pidan, Thai: ไข่เยี่ยวม้า). The century egg was cut into quarters and was beautifully putting near the middle of the plate. You may find some Thai food with century eggs. Let's say century eggs salad (Thai: ยำไข่เยี่ยวม้า) is the prime example, and green papaya salad with a century egg (Thai: ส้มตำไข่เยี่ยวม้า) is one of the varieties.
