Through the roof
The photo shows my very first photo of Machapuchare. The beautiful mountain is considered a symbol of Pokhara, Nepal and it's 6,993 meters high. It is often said that something is through the roof, but in this case, I'd say Machapuchare is through the clouds. That morning I couldn't see the top of Machapuchare in spite of the wait for an hour due to the thick cloud layer. Common tourists accommodations in Pokhara, Nepal are mostly in Lakeside and Damside. Lakeside means around Phewa lake, Damside means around the dam. The photo shows a view from Damside nearby my hotel and a nice bakery cafe.
