I took this photo through the window of my hotel room in Kathmandu, Nepal. That time, I flew in to Kathmandu from Bangkok, Thailand and spent only a night in the capital of Nepal then I caught a flight to Thimphu, Bhutan on the following day. It was such a shot stay, so I decided to stay at a four-star hotel with a restaurant that looked good. Receptionists were sophisticated, my room was comfortable, and a picture on a wall of a Himalayan mountain made me feel I was in Nepal. Good start. So then I opened the curtains and looked out the window. I didn't expect to see a construction site right behind the hotel.
