I took this picture at a Tamil curry place in Negombo, Sri Lanka. The place was not on the Negombo beach road, it was in Negombo town. I stayed in the beach area, so early in the morning I took a tuk-tuk and went to the town. The town was much more bustling than the beach area and was full of locals. This place had curry, sambal, roti, string hoppers (a.k.a. Idiyappam), and bread. I loved all of them. Some places in Sri Lanka serve rice and curry in the morning as well, but that was pretty rare. So, I'd say this is one of the typical breakfast in Sri Lanka.
