When I visit the Pyramids area in Giza, Egypt, I hired an English speaking guide and a couple of horses. One of the horse was for my guide, and the other was for me. Someone told me that I would be able to walk all over the area, but when I went there, nobody walked around under the sizzling sun. People just hired camels, horses, carriages, or something like that to go to the bottom of the Pyramids. Because of the desert and the temperature and then some. So then, I decided riding a horse probably for the first time in my life.
