Everyone has their 15 minutes of fame
In the first evening in Cairo, Egypt, I took a Nile River dinner cruise. The dinner was sort of order buffet style. There were chefs next to various food. I took a plate on the tray and said what I wanted. Soon, the show started. An attractive singer sang world-famous songs, a band played fabulous music, a stunning belly dancer danced extraordinary dances, also a Sufi whirling dancer performed a great spinning dance. I enjoyed the shows as an audience, but out of the blue, the belly dancer called me to the stage and let me dance together. I was a terrible dancer, but I was on the stage for a while. Well, everyone has their 15 minutes of fame. I can laugh about it now.
