ส้มโอ

The photo shows one of my favorite Thai fruits ส้มโอ (Pronounciation: Som-O). It's a citrus fruit, tastes like mixture of grapefruit and sweet orange, but is much bigger than them. I bought this at Wat Boon Night Bazaar (Thai: ตลาดไนท์บาซ่าร์ วัดบูรพ์) in Nakhon Ratchasima (a.k.a. Korat), Thailand. ส้มโอ is considered the largest citrus fruit in the world and has thick green peel. Almost all venders in Thailand sell flesh of ส้มโอ on a tray exactly like the photo shows. With that, all I need to do is just wash my hands, peel off the plastic wrap and then eat. I really love this fruit, really.
