I took this photo on Hikkaduwa beach in Sri Lanka. When I walk around on the beach yesterday, I saw a large sea turtle which was swimming at Coral Reef. It was this close to the shore. I thought that if there is heaven on earth, it is here; Sri Lanka. But wait a second, what is this? I noticed that the white sand beach was dotted with some cigarette butts. Grow up guys, beach is not your ashtray. It reminds me. I've talked about discarded cigarette butts with my English acquaintance several months ago. Generally speaking, we don't litter rubbish on a street, but a lot of smokers throw cigarette butts on a street. Are cigarette butts only okay rubbish which are allowed to litter on a street?
