I'm in Unawatuna where is a small village on the Southern coast of Sri Lanka and have been having a lot of yummy Sri Lankan cuisine. The photo shows Sri Lankan lunch packet of Rice and Curry. I'd say rice and curry is one of the most traditional and the most popular food here in Sri Lanka. I bought the packet at a mom-and-pop grocery store on Yaddehimulla Road near Sanasa Bank at Amarasingharamaya temple. A lunch packet of Rice and curry is normally coated with plastic and is wrapped in newspaper like the photo shows. I took a photo of the packet before I opened it up in my balcony.
