I took this picture in Lumbini, Nepal, one of the UNESCO world heritage sites. Lumbini is the place where Buddha was born. I've heard that the place is also known as one of the Buddhist pilgrimage sites. The photo shows the Holy pond where is the place known as Buddha's first bath. I visited there by a car right after Kapilavastu, and spent a night in Lumbini. I was supposed to arrive there the day before, but I couldn't because of horrible traffic jam caused by a landslide somewhere in between Kathmandu and Chitwan. I was worried about my hotel reservation, but it was okay.
