The Rua Augusta Arch

The photo shows the Rua Augusta Arch (Portuguese: Acro Da Rua Augusta) on the Commerce square in Lisbon, Portugal. I'm no expert, but I've heard that the arch is a commemoration of beautiful Libon's stabilization from the Great Lisbon Earthquake in 1755. When I was in the square, a young Caucasian couple asked me to take a picture of them including a view of the Rua Augusta Arch and the statue of King José I. The square is huge and stunning. It's located in Baixa district along the Tagus river. You can't miss it.
