The photo shows the last stop of Thai railways; Nong Khai station. Nong Khai (Thai: หนองคาย) is a cosy city in Northern Isaan (or sometimes it's spelled Isan, Thai: อีสาน) district of Thailand and the city is on the border with Laos. I took this picture while I was killing time to wait my train bound for Bangkok Central Railway Station (Thai: สถานีรถไฟกรุงเทพ). The train was red-eye, and I chose a ticket for the 2nd class sleeper, upper berth. I was able to sleep for a long time and the next morning I arrived to Bangkok. I had breakfast at Bangkok Central Railway Station. After that, I caught a metro and BTS to Eastern Bus Terminal to get to Pattaya by bus.
