This is a street sign of Vientiane, Laos; Boulevard Khounboulom. A very cool decoration of the board. I think Thai and Lao is kinda similar languages and letters are also quite similar, so I read both of them. When I spoke Thai in Laos they understood what I said. Come to think of it, I've heard from a couple of Italian that they are able to communicate with Spanish in their each mother tongue and there's no language barrier between them. Pretty nice. From my point of view, you can get by on just English in Vientiane, though, I must admit.
