Memoir of Simchat Torah
The photo shows my breakfast on the last day in Jerusalem, Israel. I really loved the hotel's buffet breakfast, so I didn't want to leave, but I already had a hotel reservation in Tel Aviv, so sometimes you hafta do what you hafta do. I planed in advanced, but I didn't know that the day was Simchat Torah (a.k.a. Simhath Torah, or Simkhes Toreh) which means there's no buses from Jerusalem to Tel Aviv. So, I took a Sherut to get to Tel Aviv. Sherut is kind of like a share taxi in Israel. Sherut drivers don't start their vehicles until 10th customer comes in. I was the first customer at the time, so I needed to wait 9 more people.
