It's on the tip of my tongue

When I had dinner at the nearest place from my hotel in Jerusalem, Israel, I took some unboned pieces of chicken, chips and bread with a can of juice. A shop crew put a bottle of ketchup, some salt and a small cup of dips which is shown on the lower side of the tray. There were a couple of shop crews who spoke English, but somehow both of them forgot how to say the white dip in English then one of them said "You know, Smell them". Yep, I knew the smell. No needed to explain it. In a nutshell, it was garlic. One of my favorite flavor in the world.
