Get some beer for a starter, and then...

I love to discuss about which food goes well with beer. Someone says cheese that's because it can avoid terrible hungover. Someone says Chorizo, and it's my favorite too. Someone says conversation. I don't think conversation is food, but I know what they meant. I'm no expert, but I've heard that people love to eat Sauerkraut with beer in Germany. It sounds healthy. When I had a lunch in Budapest, Hungary, I ordered a salad looked like the picture. It was sort of sour, and a bit similar to Sauerkraut. Of course it went well with beer.
