I saw Takins for the first time in Thimphu, Bhutan. Takin is one of the precious animals and their habitat is Tibet, Bhutan and a few more. My Bhutanese guide said that many years ago, there were a lot of Takins, but there were only a few Takins right about now. That's too bad. Takin was as large as cow, and moved quite slowly. When I saw them, they were walking around and eating grasses, or some of them were just sitting. I'm no expert, but I've heard that Takin was considered an edible animal, but it's not anymore.
