The Sigiriya Rock
This is the Sigiriya Rock (a.k.a. Lion's Rock). One of the Unesco World Heritage Sites in Sri Lanka. Many moons ago, a son of the king took his father's life and became the King Kashapa. He build the palace on this gigantic rock to stay away from his enemies, and the rest is history. When you have an opportunity to visit Sigiriya, you will know that the place is located in the middle of nowhere. It's right in the middle of a tropical jungle. Nobody could reach to the top of the rock, but the King Kashapa. Time went by, you can go to the top right now, and you'll be able to enjoy the same view as the ancient king.
