The photo shows the Marquess of Pombal Square in Lisbon, Portugal. Beautiful Avenida Liberade (a.k.a. Liberty Avenue) links Marquess of Pombal Square and Restauradores Square. Avenida Liberade is about a kilometer long, so the couple of squares are within walking distance, but also a metro line runs underground. I loved to walk on Avenida Liberade. It's the most stunning avenue ever. My hotel was close to Marquess of Pombal Square, so the place was the first landmark that I've taken a photo in Lisbon.
