My hotel room in Thimphu, Bhutan
The photo shows my hotel room in Thimphu, Bhutan. Thimphu is the capital of Bhutan and the largest city of this Himalayan country. Actually, the International Airport is in Paro, so after I flew to Bhutan from Kathmandu, Nepal I headed to Thimphu by a car. The hotel had nice dining place in it and I truly enjoyed their authentic Bhutanese cuisine such as steamed red rice, Ema datsi, and all. Thimphu is at an altitude of around 2,300 meters, but some Bhutanese locals were playing soccer games near the hotel. They got used to it. I could barely breathe. Just kidding.
