The photo shows a view of Jerónimos Monastery (a.k.a. The Hieronymites Monastery, Portuguese: Mosteiro dos Jerónimos) of beautiful Belém district in Lisbon, Portugal. A UNESCO World Heritage Site. I took this picture from the top of Padrão dos Descobrimentos (a.k.a. Monument to the Discoveries). I could also see Belém Tower from there. The top of Padrão dos Descobrimentos is not so spacious, but you can enjoy breathtaking views from above, so it's definitely worth going.
