The photo shows so-called "Green Curry" (officially called Kaeng Khiao Wan, Thai: แกงเขียวหวาน). One of the world popular Thai dishes. Kaeng (Thai: แกง) means kind of soup, Khiao (Thai: ขียว) means green and Wan (Thai: หวาน) means sweet, so this dish is kind of like a sweet green soup, but it's known as "Green Curry" all over the world because of the color. The main ingredient is coconut milk and can be made with your favorite meat. In this case I chose chicken. Then, it's called Kaeng Khiao Wan Kai (Thai: แกงเขียวหวานไก่). Kai (Thai: ไก่) means chicken.
