The photo shows one of my favorite Italian dishes named Risotto alla Milanese. I had it at a popular restaurant bar on hectic Corso Buenos Aires in Milan, Italy. Risotto alla Milanese is kind of like a creamy rice dish that contains plenty of dairy products. The vivid golden yellow comes from saffron. I've heard that people tend to order Risotto alla Milanese with a meat dish, so I ordered Cotoletta alla Milanese as well. A waiter asked me if I wanted to have the risotto and the cotoletta at the same time. I said yes, and he brought them together. Fabulous.
