I took this photo in Alton, England. When I walked along high street, I found a building of great architectural beauty and its tidy little garden. I stopped and looked around me for a while. The building is now used as the Alton Assembly Rooms. Later on, I learned that the historical building was used as a Red Cross Hospital during a certain time in its history. The architecture was just stunning and it didn't look like a hospital, though. To be honest, I learned the long history of this building after I left Alton. As the cliche goes, better late than never, right?
