Hand Battered Fish and Chips

This is Fish and Chips in London, England. It's like deep-fried fish with fries. My American acquaintances call a kind of skinny fried potatoes as fries, but my English acquaintances call them as chips, I don't know why. All I can say is sometimes it's very confusing. Anyway, this food was called Hand Battered Fish and Chips at Garfunkel's Restaurant next to London Paddington Station. Fish and Chips was described as their signature food, so I ordered it for my first lunch in London. Fish was this huge, and fries cooked just right. Also their original sauces brought out the flavors in this commonly-eaten British food. Well done, Garfunkel's, well done. I miss your Fish and Chips very much.
