When I was in Munich, Germany I really enjoyed the nighttime activity due to some fantastic German beer, food and a popular huge guzzlery near the famous Marienplatz. That was my epitome of German holiday. During daytime hours, I tried to get to know the lay of the land for a little bit. I went to the Marienplatz to see the famous clock show on the New Town Hall (German: Neues Rathaus). I don't remember exactly, but it was around noon I think. Luckily it was a picture perfect day and there was not a cloud in the sky.
