Nepal has the Himalayas and then some

I've been to Nepal twice. First of all, I went to Nepal to get to Bhutan via Kathmandu. After Bhutan, I returned to Nepal to visit great places in the Himalayan country. The first day and the last day in Nepal, I was in the capital Kathmandu. I was in awe of it. Everything I saw was different from my past experiences. Curious to say, but everything was new for me, however on the other hand, staying in Kathmandu reminded me of good old days or the ancient beautiful world of many moons ago. I don't know why, but I guess that was because the city had a picture-book scenery that I've imagined not only once. The colour of the walls or the roofs were amazingly nice. I liked that brick-red city so much. The photo shows prayer Mani wheels. I took this photo at Swayambhunath.
