Get information by word of mouth

I visited Israel on vacation. I started day by taking a nice buffet style breakfast at my hotel. This hotel is in Jerusalem. They prepared a lot of vegetable, so I was happy to had the breakfast. Also, time for breakfast was important moment to exchange some experiences about the country with other tourists. Not all tourists have enough information to explore the country, so sometimes spontaneously began to talk about what they did yesterday and how it was and spent how much or something like that.
